So on 1/1/2019...
I wrecked my car. It's a sad reality to face but grateful that it wasn't more serious.
Came around a curve, the road was icy, my car started to slide, slammed into a fence made of maybe 5" thick pine, and slid off the side of the road about 50ft.
Always, ALWAYS, seems like things like this happen when other situations arise. No insurance because I couldn't afford to renew last month. So I'm up shitcreek on this one.
Had left my car some place safe until I was able tow to it home. So thankful to my friend and co-worker, he was really really helpful.
Going to fish around and see if it's worth fixing, if not, then I don't know. I mostly the driver door, the front bumper and maybe the alternator and radiator, from what I can tell.
