Theo danh sách tỷ phú USD do Tạp chí Forbes công bố hồi đầu năm 2021, Việt Nam ghi nhận 6 cá nhân sở hữu tài sản trên 1 tỷ USD. Trong đó, ông Phạm Nhật Vượng, Chủ tịch HĐQT Vingroup, là người giàu nhất Việt Nam với khối tài sản ròng trị giá 7,3 tỷ USD tần suất cặp lô to. Xếp thứ 2 là bà chủ hãng hàng không Vietjet - Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo - với khối tài sản 2,8 tỷ USD.
