NBA Free Agency has just started, and teams have already spent around $3 Billion USD in the first day alone. Some teams have gotten significantly better, some remained relatively the same, while some took major losses. These are the teams I think will be the 3 worst at the end of next year's regular season.
1. Charlotte Hornets

I genuinely think the Hornets will be THE worst team next year. They lost all-star Kemba Walker to Boston, while getting a mediocre Terry Rozier on a large contract in return. This combined with some of the worst contracts in the league, and young prospects who might be some of the only good players left, means Charlotte might seriously struggle to win 15 games. While questions of Michael Jordan's managerial ability will continue to be raised.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers are in a weird position, many (including me) thought they were crazy for drafting ANOTHER point guard 5th overall this year after drafting top prospect Collin Sexton the previous year. Both of whom are undersized and liabilities on defense. The rest of their team is mediocre at best, with their saving grace being Kevin Love, who, soon to be 31 years old, may request a trade to a contender.
3. New York Knicks

The New York Knicks summer plan has derailed in spectacular fashion. With the worst record in the league, they fell to pick #3 in the draft, while also losing out on star free agents Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, both of whom were linked to the Knicks throughout the last year. The incompetencies of the Owner and his refusal to spend money means the Knicks will likely secure another trip to the Draft Lottery with one of the best chances at landing the #1 pick. I do hope R.J. Barrett does well though, and Julius Randle was a very good signing on a good contract coming off a career best year.
This is just my opinion :)
What do you think?? Am I right? What teams would you pick?
