I'm Addicted to Dark on Netflix

This show was suggested to me by a few friends so I gave it a try and holy WHAT I am hooked.

Dark is a german scifi drama that follows a small town that is trying to grapple with the fact that children are going missing...just like they did exactly 33 years prior.
Through the eyes of all the people in the town, we discover a huge secret and something wild that has been going on (and still continues) for decades.

It revolves around the mythology behind the number 33 and numerology.

Every 33 years, the stars and planets are perfectly aligned as they were 33 years ago (because our definition of a year - 365 days - isnt quite accurate so it takes 33 years for everything to truly sync again)
We are taken into the creepy world of time travel that is haunting the town and tbh the first 4 episodes had me scared out of my mind.
It's really well made and makes you think a lot, I can't WAIT to dive into season 2 tonight! If you love complicated storylines and coming up with LOTS of theories - this is the series for you.

I want to watch it but it's German. I'd be torn between subtitles and actually translating. I think I'd go crazy because my German is decent but not quite good.enough if.they speak fast.

Drama, Shows, & Anime Recommendations
Here are some Korean, Chinese, American, Japanese dramas/shows/anime I recommend watching! To keep the list short I'm only listing 10: (these are in no particular order) 1) The Haunting of Hill House Country: United States Plot: In the summer of 1992, Hugh and Olivia Crain, along with their children Steven, Shirley, Theodora, Luke and Eleanor, temporarily move into Hill House while they renovate the mansion, then sell it at a profit and build their own house as designed by Olivia. However, unexpected repairs necessitate the lengthening of their stay. At the same time, they begin to experience increasing paranormal phenomena that results in a tragic loss and the family fleeing from the house. Twenty-six years later, the Crain siblings and their estranged father reunite after tragedy strikes again, and they are all forced to confront how their time in Hill House had affected each of them. 2) Twelve Nights Country: South Korea Plot: Is it just a coincidence, or is it fate? A man and a woman meet time and time again over the span of 8 years. Han Yoo Kyung is an aspiring photographer who graduated from college in New York. After a painful breakup from her boyfriend, she travels to Seoul. There, she meets Cha Hyun Oh, a man who aspires to be a dancer. He quit his job in Japan and took an impulsive trip to Korea for 4 days. After sharing some time together, they part ways. But not for long, as Yoo Kyung and Hyun Oh somehow keep encountering each other many times on three different trips and spend 12 nights together. Is there a special meaning behind each time they meet, and will all of this time spent with each other develop into more than an encounter? 3) Yakou Kanransha Country: Japan Plot: The drama is based on the best selling same-titled novel Minato Kanae, and is about two families that reside in the same upscale neighborhood. Amongst all the beautiful homes lined up in a row, there is a small house that belongs to the Endo family. Even though it is small, but it is a dream come true for Endo Mayumi. Living directly opposite them, is the elite Takahashi family. With their threegifted and smart children and a doctor husband, the Takahashis seem like a blessed and happy family. One day, Takahashi Hiroyuki is found murdered. The police suspect the murderer is someone the family knows... 4) B: The Beginning Country: Japan Plot: In a world powered by advanced technology, crime and action sweep through the archipelagic nation of Cremona. Chief among the major players is "Killer B", a serial killer who has thrown the city into chaos. The stories of Koku, the protagonist; Keith, a legendary investigator of the Royal Investigation Service (RIS); and a mysterious criminal organisation intertwine on the path to reach their objectives. 5) Light as a Feather Country: United States Plot: Light as a Featherfollows "five teen girls as they deal with the supernatural fallout stemming from an innocent game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board.” When the girls start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, the survivors must figure out why they're being targeted — and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own." 6) Meteor Garden Country: China Plot: An ordinary girl is admitted to the most prestigious school in the country where she encounters F4, an exclusive group comprised of the four wealthiest and handsomest boys in the school - Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men and Mei Zuo. Shan Cai is an 18-year-old girl from a family that's barely able to make ends meet. Due to a turn of events, she gets accepted into a school thatonly accepts the upper class elites. She immediately clashes with her classmates especially Dao Ming Si who is spoiled, arrogant and a bully. She remains defiant even after becoming a target of a series of pranks intended to torment her and just when she's about to give up, Hua Ze Lei always seems to show up to lend her a helping hand. Eventually, the four boys begin to acknowledge Shan Cai's unyielding personality that is like her namesake which is that of a weed that can never be brought down. She also begins to see the good in the boys, which paves the way for friendship and an eventual romance. 7) Ajin Seasons 1 & 2 Country: Japan Plot: The story is about a student named Kei Nagai, who discovers he is an "immortal" "Ajin" when he is hit by a truck. He is wanted by the government because the Ajin are considered dangerous inhuman beings and the only person who is there to support him is his childhood friend, Kaito. While the government claims to help Ajin live in a safe environment, they are actually using them as subjects for cruel and inhumane experimentation. As a result, Ajins that have escaped like Sato are bent on revenge – with the exception of Kei, who wants no part in the Ajin conflict. Kei is initially shown to lack empathy for others, even the people closest to him, but as Sato's actions become even more extreme, he eventually joins the fight to stop Sato's violent campaign. 8) Liar Game Country: South Korea Plot: Various contestants take part in a game show with a prize of 10 billion won. The contestants who can cheat the others wins the prize. Contestants include genius swindler Cha Woo Jin and naive college student Nam Da Jung. 9) Castle Rock Country: United States Plot: Castle Rock combines "the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland." 10) Die Now (I haven't seen this one yet but I've seen good reviews!) I just started watching it last night and its really good! Definitely puts you in the perfect mood for Halloween :) It's based on the old comics and is by the same creator as Riverdale! It's pretty dark though so be warned ~

Promise it is pretty damn spiffy to randomly hear this! Freeform has this show out called 'The Bold Type' and lately for english show Ive been watching it. Now for Kpop songs to be heard in a US TV series it happens so rarely and its amazing in a show like this where the music is specifically songs in style and most played, so yea big deal that Blackpink is featured, not just once but twice! Right off the bat Blackpink song was featured in the first Episode! make it whistle! 5 Film and TV Suggestions To Get You in the Mood for Halloween
I love autumn and the Halloween season. Right about now is when I dive headfirst into film, TV, and books that surround me with autumn feels :) 1. Anything Hitchcock Alfred Hitchcock is the master of suspense and his film are always perfect for the creepy moods of October. I personally suggest Rear Window and Rebecca! 2. Harry Potter For less creepy and more nostalgic autumn feelings, I always love to marathon the Harry Potter series or better yet, find time to read the books! 3. Disney Classics Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown never fail to get me in the mood for some Halloween fun! I wasn't the biggest fan of the sequels to Halloweentown, but sometimes a good ole marathon is just what the doctor ordered! 4. American Horror Story With the new season well on its journey to freaking me the heck out, I have to suggest all previous seasons of AHS! My favorites were Murder House and Coven followed close by Asylum! 5. Stranger Things This show is so perfect for Halloween. It takes place in a cozy American town during the autumn and winter and I am just so in love!! If you haven't already watched season 1 & 2, what are you doing!?

Any Crime/Mystery Podcast Suggestions?
I just seriously binged a podcast called Crime Junkie and now I need something else to take its place while I wait for next week's episode lol! When I was little I LIVED for Nancy Drew and similar girl-detective stories. Then I moved onto CSI and devoured every episode of every season and even bought the DVDs (Las Vegas obviously) I also loved Bones but when the romance part of the storyline got to be more important than the crimes I sort of dropped it and NOW I'm majorly binge watching Elementary but I'm almost done so I'm trying sooo hard to not finish it cause I seriously don't know what I'll do with my life haha Crime Junkies was the first podcast I was able to get into because so many other crime podcasts (like My Favorite Murder) were too chatty and blabbered on about random things and not the facts and the mystery. So, do you guys have any suggestions? Looking forward to it!
