[UNCONFIRMED] Jihyo and Kang Daniel Dating?!
According to Dispatch, Kang Daniel and Jihyo were seen on a date in the neighborhood of Hannam in Seoul on August 1, and they reportedly began dating in the beginning of the year. The two reportedly met at Kang Daniel’s home, and Jihyo drove there in her own car. The two stayed within the neighborhood’s UN Village. In response to this report, TWICE’s agency JYP Entertainment and Kang Daniel’s agency KONNECT Entertainment stated, “We have seen the report and are checking the facts.” If it's true, they are literally the most adorable couple ever?

Eric Nam has a podcast called the Daebak Show that has a lot to do with Kpop and Korean pop culture, and sometimes he has guests come on the show. Recently he had Peniel from BTOB join and they talk about his JYP audition and it's, to put it mildly, HILARIOUS. It's so refreshing to be able to hear idols talk in such a chill way. He's a human! My Tips For Studying Korean!
I've recently started properly studying Korean again and wanted to share some easy ways to practice and get started! 1. Start studying in the morning to jump start your learning! I use DuoLingo for a quick review while I eat breakfast. Other people have also suggested Memrise, LingoDeer, and Anki :) I personally prefer Duolingo but anything helps! 2. Watch and learn! A common suggestion for improving your Korean is to watch Kdramas and write down every word you don't know. The problem is, Korean dramas are LONG. It can be disheartening to try to watch an hour of a show and be contantly taking notes. I suggest that you instead watch Korean YouTubers because they use vocabulary you'd probably want to know (they speak like humans as opposed to how some people talk in dramas lol!). There are also shorter Web Dramas available that are fun too! 3. Play the name game Pick a room in your house, like the bathroom. Try to name absolutely everything in that room. Toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. But also what about mirror? How do you say shower head? Bath mat? Tile floor? Once you think you can name everything, move on to verbs - take a bath, clean the mirror, wash your hair, dry the floor. Move on to other rooms in your house! Move out to the street! You'll be amazed at how much you learn! What are some of your favorite Korean learning tips?

I Watched 'The Great Hack' and Now I'm Scared of the Internet
Last year data surpassed oil in value. Data is the most valuable asset on Earth. Last night I decided to watch one of Netflix's newest documentaries, The Great Hack. I thought I knew a lot about the scandal revolving around Facebook, Cambridge Analytica, the Trump win and the Brexit win, but there is so much more. I honestly thought the documentary was really well done (though one of the main people of interest in it made me want to throw my laptop out the window - you'll know if you've seen it) and left us with really important points to think about. One huge one being that there are forces at play (be it Steve Bannon or the 'Bad Boys of Brexit' or Russia) that want us to hate each other. To be divided, to be polarized. That way we will destroy each other and ourselves. Divide and conquer. Everyone is being manipulated, probably even me. This was a not so gentle reminder to think critically, focus on evidence (and if there is "evidence," check that its real lol), and to uh...read those terms of service. If this made you feel like throwing your phone out the window, I want to leave you with some hope! Here's an interesting story about 'ethical hacking' and how, while it may seem the internet gods are mostly evil geniuses, there are good guys rising in the ranks to change things! Data rights are human rights!

I've Been Playing This Harry Potter Game for MONTHS
I have been playing Hogwarts a Mystery, a mobile game in which your character tries to solve the mystery of your brother's disappearance and the strange 'cursed vaults' hidden in Hogwarts, for FOREVER. I just really like the graphics and want to be able to explore all the rooms BUT ITS TAKING SO LONG. I also refuse to spend any money at all so I'm playing at the slowest pace -___- You can take classes, explore the library and common rooms (only your own of course!), and hang out with friends like Tonks! You can even visit Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley :) You can also take care of Magical Creatures! You get to customize your avatar and yes, I did choose a magical cat sweater ;)

SM Reported To Release a SUPERBOYGROUP w/ EXO, NCT, SHINee members
SM Entertainment is reportedly launching a superboygroup of sorts with members of EXO, SHINee, and NCT. On August 2, industry representatives reported that SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Kai and Baekhyun, and NCT’s Taeyong and Mark along with Lucas and Ten, who are also part of WayV, will be debuting as a new boy group sometime within 2019. When asked for comment, SME didn’t deny it.
