Self Care!!!

Hello fam!

I thought it would be a great idea for a self care community! School has begun and the seasons will change soon. Along with these transitions could come anxiety, depression, and triggers for mental health.

My Background

I do have a background in mental health. Self-care is my specialty. I have found through my career and personal life that self-care can reduce so much drama. I personally have been diagnosed with Major Depression and I know how life can become dark randomly. However, I found that self-care has helped me manage my professional and personal life and I have less triggers.
In this community I will share some education on self-care and it will also touch on mental health as well as holistic ways of healing. I'm not a doctor and this is not a place for therapy but more so a place of education and support. I can only share the knowledge I have that has helped me and what I've researched.

Hello fam! I just want to put this out there warning triggering topic! I will discuss issues with mental health. I was just poundering about some songs that RM has created, produced, and or performed. Sometimes songs have links to each other. In 2017 RM released a song called "Always". This song is mature in a sense it does speak about the struggles of loving yourself, staying true to yourself, loosing yourself, and dealing with the world all at the same time. Namjoon does mention moments of wanting to die, wanting to choose himself, and the frustrations of realizing that we must understand the world but it doesn't give a damn about understanding us. If you know anything about RM his journey of frame wasn't easy despite his talents. His family did not accept his dream and goal of pursuing music. He was told to forget music and often had to his his lyrics from his parents. Just imagine not having the support of your parents to pursue your passion. As most parents they wanted him to find his place in the world by going to school and getting a good regular job. Below is a great in depth analysis of the song I personally knows what that feels like since I was pressured to bring only A's home. When I told mom that I wanted to go to school for animation and interior design my mom did not support me and told me that was a waste in my intelligence. I was forced to go to a private liberal arts college and go into a path for a normal career. I definitely regret it. I'm just know rediscovering myself and finally following my passions. Answer: Love Myself Now let's fast forward to the present time. I feel like in this song RM is speaking truth to his past self. In this song he realizes that living for others is not worth it. He realizes that he doesn't need anyone's permission but his own to love himself. Below is the translation of his verse. Hello fam! I just wanted to create another card to help newbies. I know it takes time to learn something new.I can remember back in the day when I was new to Vingle. I'm not saying I make the best cards but here are some tips I picked up to help my card get some attention. This could help ur card get featured! 1. Title Your Title is what will bring immediate attention to your card. Have an attention grabbing title. Try not to skip the title. 2. Content Make sur your content is eye catching. Sometimes ppl can be lost when you have too much content. Creating something that's quick but filling! 3. Effects/Media It is 2019 and it's proven that humans are visual beings. Make sure add some cool pictures, videos, and or gifs. This will definitely make your work stand out! 4. Be Creative, an Anomaly, Unique With practice you will develop your own style. I know I try having the same tagline or welcoming line...."Hello fam!" This so so y'all can remember me and it let's you know we all are family here! How to stop sugar cravings instantly? Many people like me may have a huge need for this subject. There are ways to stop sweet cravings naturally without restricting yourself or adhering to a rigorous diet, however, cravings can be inconvenient and difficult to ignore. I started looking for ways to help me avoid sweets because I had a problem with sugar cravings. Some people occasionally experience cravings for sugar. That is not a big problem.  However, some people, like me, graze for sweets after every meal. Yes, it’s now rooted in my habits. Only when I give my stomach some sweets do my mind and stomach feel fulfilled. Usually, I eat healthy foods. But what’s the use? Along with that, I take sweets & snacks too which makes me fat and also Lil bit unhealthy. Earlier, I used to stock biscuits, and sweets in my house so that I can eat them at any time I have sweet cravings. Now I have replaced sweets & biscuits with protein bars like peanut burfi, sesame burfi, etc. Some of my friends also told me that they will also eat sweets after food. However, sweets can increase digestion, eating them more leads to many diseases and is unhealthy. Even I am aware of which shop sells the best sweets in my locality. Due to diabetes in my family, I am concerned. There is a greater chance of also catching me. I’ll get it very quickly if I keep eating this way. We must first recognize the difference between hunger and cravings. If you are trying to lose weight and are eating too little, you may frequently feel hungry. To solve this issue, you need to eat less frequently. It is known as a sugar craving if you eat to your fullest capacity and then feel the urge to consume something very sweet. I gonna share some of my strategies and tricks to curb sugar cravings at any time of the day, whether you’re experiencing mid-morning snack cravings, need your daily 4 o’clock munchie fix, need to satisfy your after-dinner sweet desires, or need a late-night fix. How to stop sugar cravings instantly? 1. 28Days rule Everything is decided by the mind. If you choose to refrain from sugar for a continuous 28 days, it becomes a habit. Although it takes time, it has been proven to lessen cravings. But make up your mind first. Tell your mind that eating sweets is unhealthy. Every time you feel like eating sweets, say it four to five times. 2. Brush your teeth After a meal, brushing your teeth can quickly eliminate sugar cravings. Your lips will taste minty fresh after using the toothpaste, which will discourage you from reaching for something sweet. 3. Go for a walk Staying away from the food you are craving is a simple approach. Endorphins, or “feel good” hormones, are released when you walk briskly or exercise and they can assist to curb cravings. 4. Low-carb meal with protein Start your day with a low-carb meal with protein to manage your blood sugar and insulin levels throughout the day. It helps to prevent your sugar cravings.  Select a good protein source such as organic eggs, almonds, seeds, fish, poultry, grass-fed red meat, or homemade protein shakes & powder. I use homemade collagen powder which is rich in protein. 5. Healthy fats Sugar makes you obese but healthy fats don’t. On the other hand, healthy fats support blood sugar regulation, prolong feelings of satiety, fuel and energize cells, offer your body the components necessary to produce healthy hormones, support intestinal lining repair, and the list goes on.  Snack on avocados, nuts, seeds, or nut butter. An apple with almond or sunflower seed butter is my go-to sugar-busting snack. To feel full and help prevent sugar cravings, you can also freely use extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil in your cooking and on salads. 6. Small & frequent meals Eat smaller, frequent meals to help maintain a stable blood sugar level and reduce your body’s desire for an immediate sugar boost. 7.
