I know I've had some inquiries about being an editor. This card will have some tips of your application being accepted, outline the duties/expectations of being an editor, and how not to get dismissed once you are an editor. DISCLAIMER THIS IS IF YOU WANT TO WORK WITH ME. EXPECTATIONS MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE COMMUNITY PRESIDENT.
How to become an editor
All you have to do is apply. The link to apply is on the home page of the community.
I believe Vingle does require you to be a member for at least 2 weeks. I also ask that you are an active member. If you have no cards of your own in the community that will lower the chances of me approving your application. Usually I try to DM and inquire what are your goals on being part of the team.
For my communities I usually have a line up.or agenda for weekly cards. I expect that the editor does participate and create content. That's why it's important to have some cards already made before you apply. This shows that you are actually interested and can create content. As editor you are responsible for creating content, enforcing the rules, and accepting and or rejecting cards.
How to Avoid Being Dismissed
As the president a person has the ability to dismiss people from their duties. If you are inactive for at least a week per policy a president can dismiss you. If you don't follow the guidelines they can also let you go. If things happen like you being sick, the app isn't working for you, and or you are no longer interested in being editor you can always DM me.
