Starbucks goes contemporary yet again and this time its in Japan! This interior featuring over 200 wooden baton lines was created by architects of Kengo Kuma and Associates. The wooden batons create a diagonally woven pattern that outlines the shop. At night along with the dim lightings, it creates a very beautiful cave light environment.

looks unique but a little claustrophobic for me, the artwork on the walls looks nice but in my pov they should have stopped there b/c it looks like the walls and ceiling is caving in....
