FIBRA OLVIDADA

DR DENIS BURKITT, CIRUJANO E INVESTIGADOR CIENTÍFICO 1911 -1993

10 tips for healthy eating
Unlike what you can imagine, having a balanced diet is not such a difficult task. You need to follow three basic rules: consume variety, with quality and moderation. This is possible with discipline and awareness of what is really needed for your body. See the tips! Eat fresh foods Fresh or minimally processed foods, of vegetable origin, are the basis of a balanced diet. Include on the menu: beans, nuts, tubers, grains, fruits, vegetables and greens. Avoid excess salt, sugar, oils and fats Use salt, sugar, oils and fats in small amounts. Excessive sugar consumption contributes to obesity; the improper use of salt, oils and fats can increase the risk of high blood pressure and heart disease. Avoid ultra-processed foods The natural manufacturing process for ready-made foods generally includes high amounts of salt, sugar, oils and fats. In addition, they also bring other substances for industrial use and synthesized in the laboratory from sources such as oil and coal, which do not favor a balanced diet. So, avoid consuming foods like: chips stuffed cookies cake mix instant noodles powder soup ready seasoning  soft drinks Consume functional foods Functional foods are those that help prevent or reduce the risk of some diseases. Soy and fish, for example, help to reduce bad cholesterol; chestnuts, almonds, walnuts, onions and garlic, help the immune system; cabbage, cabbage and broccoli can protect against some types of cancer. Include fiber in your diet Studies indicate that fiber-rich foods, such as brown rice, help reduce the risk of some types of cancer and cardiovascular disease. In addition, they promote satiety and help control body weight. Make a weekly menu Create a weekly plan with the week's menu. This will help to organize food throughout the days and avoid the consumption of ready-made and ultra-processed foods. Make grocery list With the weekly plan in hand, choose a day of the week to go to the fair and the supermarket. Make a shopping list to help you not include items in the cart that will not contribute to your health. Have a balanced breakfast Your healthy choices start in the morning with a breakfast consisting of foods such as whole grain bread, cereals, tapioca, egg, yogurt, cheese and fruit. In addition to nourishing the body, they will give you the energy you need to start the day in a good mood. Eat intermediate meals Eating every three hours favors the proper functioning of the intestine. Include healthy food such as fresh fruit, plain yogurt, nuts and walnuts in between meals. Mindfulness when eating Try to focus while eating your meals. Eating while watching TV or accessing your cell phone can make you consume more than necessary. Also, use that moment to feel the texture and flavor of the food and enjoy each bite. Conclusion Healthy eating should prioritize fresh or minimally processed foods As we have seen, the basis of healthy eating is the proper choice of foods and ingredients. Avoiding ultra-processed foods as much as possible and opting for food in its most natural form, respecting the regions and seasons of production and harvesting, is fundamental. Look for small producers in your region to buy your food. Make at home, as much as you can, the preparation of your meals. You will notice that, in addition to being healthier, there is nothing more delicious than food that tastes like home. Value the food you eat, because then you will be valuing your body and your health. “You are what you eat”, have you heard that phrase? So, review your eating habits to build a healthier and more positive relationship with food. You will gain in disposition, energy, quality of life and, we have no doubt, taste.
Why vitamins and minerals form an essential part of our diet
Vitamin and minerals both are important nutrients for the body as they perform lots of activities to keep you healthy. There is a borderline for the requirements you need to follow for these nutrients and if you cross the line, then they might be harmful to the body. Nothing is better than having a healthy diet in your lifestyle that provides you enough nutrients required for the body. Each and every day, your body generates skin, muscles, and bones. It also produces red rich blood that carries nutrients and oxygen to the entire body and sends nerve signals to the brain and muscles. It also prepares chemical messengers that run from one organ to another creating instructions that help to comfort your life. To perform all these functions, your body indefinitely requires nutrients. These nutrients can include various types of vitamins and minerals which your body cannot manufacture itself. Understanding all the benefits of vitamins and minerals can be quite confusing. So you can read articles, magazines, nutritional books that can aid you with all the information you need about vitamin and mineral. Vitamins and minerals are also known as micronutrients of the body because your body required a few quantities of them. Even lacking in these small nutrients can lead to a major disease. The following are some of the major diseases due to the lack of these micronutrients. 1. Scurvy- Long time ago, when sailors used to sail on the ship without eating fresh fruits for many days’, their bodies would experience a deficiency in vitamins and minerals which caused bleeding of the gums. 2. Blindness- In many foreign countries, it is observed that many people turn blind due to the deficiency in vitamin A. 3. Rickets- It is nothing but a condition where your bone becomes week and soft leading to skeletal deformities such as bowed legs. It is caused due to the lack of vitamin D. Just as a lack of some micronutrients can lead to some disease, having a minerals rich diet can give you some health benefits such as 1. Strong bone- Bones are the combination of calcium, collagen, vitamin B, vitamin K, and magnesium, phosphorus. Having these nutrients in your diet can save you from bone fractures by strengthening the bone. 2. Prevent birth Defects-Having folic supplements or multivitamin supplements for the women at the time of pregnancy can protect the child from the brain and spinal birth damage. 3. Healthy teeth- Like bones, teeth too are made up of calcium, mineral fluoride, which helps prevent teeth cavities. There is a different category of vitamins known as a water-soluble vitamin. These vitamins are mostly found in the watery portions of the food we eat. They are directly absorbed in the bloodstream when the food is broken down during the digestion process or when the supplement is dissolved. So if you are not getting enough vitamins from your diet then you can take vitamin supplements that are easily available in the vitamin supplement store. As 70% of our body consists of water, vitamins easily get circulated in the body. Some of the water-soluble vitamins are biotin, folic acid, niacin, pantothenic acid, thiamin, riboflavin acid, vitamin B6, and B12. Although water-soluble vitamins have to perform various tasks in the body, one of the important things they perform is to release the energy found in the food you eat. Other vitamins aid in keeping the tissues healthy. You can also consume AOR advanced B-complex for vitamin B. The following are the functions that different vitamins perform: 1. Helps in releasing energy- Many vitamin Bs form the main parts of coenzymes, which are the molecules that help the enzymes to release the energy. 2. Production of energy- Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin is the nutrients engaged in the production of the energy. 3. Building protein and cells- Vitamins B6, B12, and folic acids are responsible for metabolizing the amino acids and helps in multiplying the cells. 4. Creating Collagen-One of the important roles of vitamin C is to create collagen that helps in repairing wounds, support blood vessels, etc. Although hard to believe, some of the water-soluble vitamins can stay in the body for a longer period of time. Folic acids and vitamin C and stay in your body for more than 2 days. However, these vitamins should be refilled in the body every few days. You must be aware that consuming a high amount of these nutrients in the body can prove to be harmful. For example, consuming heavy doses of vitamin B6 several times can damage the nerves causing numbness and weak muscle. Just like water-soluble vitamins, there are fat-soluble vitamins. Rather than directly getting absorbed in the bloodstream, these vitamins enter the blood through lymph channels located in the intestine walls. Many fat-soluble vitamins can travel the entire body only when protected by the proteins as their carriers.
CBD vs. THC: Properties, Benefits, and Side Effects
CBD and THC are both cannabinoids found in cannabis plants that include hemp and marijuana. The vast majority of humans would tell you that they’ve heard of both cannabinoids. People know they are things contained in cannabis but they may not be able to actually compare CBD vs THC. You will see that despite many similarities, the two cannabinoid compounds are very different in the way they impact the human body. There are, in fact, vast differences between these two cannabinoids. There is also common ground between them. Let us explore their differences as we appraise the properties, benefits, and side effects of each, helping you fully understand both. Properties Both CBD and THC can be extracted from hemp or marijuana. The biggest difference is from which they come. Hemp only has .03% THC. The content of THC is much higher in marijuana -- sometimes as high as 25%. Both cannabinoid compounds impact the endocannabinoid system in the body. One key difference is THC is a psychoactive compound. It impacts the brain, in other words. This means that THC can impair cognitive function and slow reaction times. You should not use THC if you are planning on driving or operating any heavy machinery. CBD, on the other hand, has been proven to improve focus. Many people with ADHD find that their critical thinking and awareness skills are improved when using CBD. Many choose to use CBD products over THC products for this improved cognitive function. They both share the same molecular structure: 30 hydrogen atoms, 21 carbon atoms, and 2 oxygen atoms that are simply arranged differently, accounting for their many variations. Both compounds share some benefits and they also differ by helping with some things better than the other can. Let’s explore these in greater detail. Benefits It is easier to break down the uses of each cannabinoid separately. Let's start with CBD: Primary Uses of CBD Include - ● Inflammation ● Pain ● Seizures ● Mental disorders ● Inflammatory Bowel Disease ● Nausea ● Anxiety ● Depression ● Migraine Headaches Primary Uses of THC Include: ● Glaucoma ● Anxiety ● Poor appetite ● Pain ● Insomnia ● Muscle spasms An added benefit of using CBD: it will not impair your cognitive function, therefore making it legal in all fifty states. This is the biggest difference that separates CBD from THC. CBD is available to many in states that do not offer medical marijuana and it also offers an alternative for those who do not want the head high that comes from using THC. Medical marijuana is not legal in all fifty states and you can be issued a ticket or arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana. This is the reason that CBD products have become so popular since legalized. The accessibility and added safety have made it a logical choice for many who cannot use THC at work or while driving. Potential Side Effects CBD is fairly free of side-effects, which are rare. Some people may find that if they use too much CBD at one time, diarrhea is problematic. Very few report headaches or stomach pains. None of these symptoms are permanent. If CBD is stopped, the symptoms will subside -- typically in a few hours. You may gradually increase your dosage again, carefully. This will avoid ongoing side-effects. THC is completely different. Since this is a psychoactive cannabinoid compound, it can cause paranoia, hallucinations, slow motor skill function, and cause sleepiness. This is not a good product if someone has a mental illness that may enhance the paranoia or, as aforementioned, someone operates heavy equipment or drives for a living. THC is not legal for everyone and in some states, you may have it prescribed to you by a physician if you have a qualifying illness. THC use should be monitored so that your physician can help guide you to the strains that are best for you as there are many variations in the types of marijuana available. Have a look on Other Remedies for more information about CBD. The Choice Tends to Be Personal Which you choose to use is largely up to you. If you live in a state with legalized medical marijuana, you may freely choose this. If you are not happy with the head high, you might try CBD instead. CBD can help as much as THC, depending on the issue you are seeking help with. Read More: https://www.vingle.net/posts/3006552?q=cbd https://www.vingle.net/posts/3004271?q=cbd
