Movies to Look Forward to in 2014
The year 2013 is over, and with it passes several great movies and box office hits. But now we have a whole year full of new movies to look forward to. Here is a brief list of the 2014 films that I’m most excited about. 1. “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” Directed by: Rob Minkoff Release date: March 7 Featuring: Ty Burrell, Max Charles, and Stephen Colbert This animated film is an adaptation of a story from the 1950s. This DreamWorks production should be a great family film, entertaining children and parents alike. 2. “Jupiter Ascending” Directed by: Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski Release date: July 18 Featuring: Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne Here’s one for the sci-fi fans. Star Mila Kunis is targeted for assassination by an intergalactic superpower, and she must fight for her life throughout this science fiction thriller. 3. “The Grand Budapest Hotel” Directed by: Wes Anderson Release date: March 7 Featuring: Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Bill Murray. Using the aesthetic for which he is famous, Wes Anderson crafts another quirky film with an impressive set of cast members. 4. “Edge of Tomorrow” Directed by: Doug Liman Release date: June 6 Featuring: Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Jeremy Piven Tom Cruise continues his foray into the science fiction genre after “Oblivion” (2013) with this futuristic thriller. 5. “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” Directed by: Matt Reeves Release date: July 11 Featuring: Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Jason Clarke An exciting follow-up to the well-received “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” (2011), this film promises to take the premise of the original story further than it has ever gone before. images: Peabody: http://goo.gl/QUP5mM Jupiter Ascending: http://goo.gl/ftSqo2 The Grand Budapest Hotel: http://goo.gl/0S7zz5 Edge of Tomorrow: http://goo.gl/AMv8ES Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: http://goo.gl/8ZxMgi
