1) Travel back in time
Do you remember the jitters of the first date? What is better than that magical first kiss? Sometimes a first date doesn't go as absolutely perfect as you imagined it, but can anything ever really top it? Well what about recreating that magical night, and reliving the reason that you fell for each other, including everything from the dinner that night down to the first kiss?
2) Bring on the Rom-Com
There is nothing better than to be warm and safe in your sweetheart's embrace. It may seem simple and unimaginative, but sometimes the simplest things are the best. Just rent 2 of your favorite romantic comedies, laugh and snuggle, all the while remembering that your sweetheart is living your romantic comedy with you!
3) Putting up a lingerie show -> gifts for u and him
This is a little more on the sultry side. What about going to Victoria's Secret and pulling out the credit card for a little fun shopping, all the while remembering that the real fun will be later. Right after your romantic dinner, or sweet walk riverside, you can take him home and put on a small fashion show.
He will thank you, and you will thank yourself!
4) Play Truth or Dare. Begin with each of you writing out five dares -- anything from trying on a sexy outfit to something naughty or nice. Place them in a bowl. Now take turns asking each other questions such as, "What's the sexiest fantasy you've ever had?" or "What were you most scared of as a kid?" If you don't answer, you have to dip into the pot and select a dare.
This is a great way to get steamy with your loved one, and at the same time to get to know each other on a much deeper level.
5) Watch the sunrise
There is nothing more majestic than watching the sun rise on crisp cold chilly day. Of course, it requires you wake up very early, and have to endure the cold. But in order to endure the cold, you will need to make sure that you snuggle up closely.
6) Have a picnic indoors.
Yes it might be too cold in some places to have a picnic, but that is not true about an indoors picnic. Move your furniture a bit, then spread a blanket with fresh fruit, chocolates, cheese slices, and wine. It is a simple and heart-warming way to spend some one-on-one time with your honey.
7) Go for a run…with a steamy finish line.
Yes this is for the more sporty, of us. And yes it might be too cold, but all those endorphins at the end of your short run pumping through your veins will pay off in a hot, two-person shower later.
8) Do some dancing.
You do not need to spend a lot or go very far to create the most romantic ballroom dancing you can imagine. Burn a CD with tunes from your dating days and include your first dance (or favorite) song.
Hint: Do sure to not use songs that may be too difficult for either one of you to pull off :) Simple romantic ballads will do the trick just fine.
9) Go ice skating.
If you own skates, gliding around at a public rink is often free. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate and marshmallows plus a sweet treat to share.
If he is willing to do it, break out the couple scarfs or the couple gloves. The whole atmosphere will be that of a winter wonderland, and what would be better to warm up?
10) Start a V-Day text-a-thon.
Can’t spend the whole day together? Send your partner a text every hour, on the hour, stating why he is the man of your dreams. It will not only boost his ego, but it will remind him that Valentine's day is also about showing your love for him (to many guys overlook this). By the time your honey gets home, his self-esteem will be at an all time high, and he will know it was/is because of you!
