The Afghan government on Thursday released 65 prisoners over the objections of the American military, which said they were dangerous insurgents responsible for killing its soldiers and might return to the fight. The 65 detainees left the Bagram prison in the morning, and were taken away in vehicles belonging to the Afghan National Army’s military police, who are in charge of the facility. Its good to see the US taking a step back as the war ends.
Hmm, this is really sad, hopefully these prisoners don't do anything more against the united states
sad? maybe they shouldn't have been released but its good to see the afghans decidiing
Well, maybe sad was a poor word
Yeah, but I can't think of a good outcome for this, its a dmned if you do damned if you don't situation for the US
