The Longest Celebrity Relationships
The life expectancy of a relationship in Hollywood falls lower and lower all the time. Judging from the relationships of most popular celebrities, it seems as though long-term relationships in Hollywood are nonexistent! But there are a select few celebrities whose relationships have stood the test of time. Most say that the key is to never discuss their relationship publically. Whatever their secret is to success, they are to be admired for their commitment. Here are some of the longest relationships in Hollywood today. Couple: Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker Length of Relationship: 17 years Despite the promiscuity of the character that Sarah Jessica Parker plays on Sex And The City, she is a one-man-at-a-time kind of woman. After ending a relationship with long-time boyfriend Robert Downey Jr., she went on to marry Matthew Broderick. Couple: Ellen DeGeneres and Poria De Rossi Length of Relationship: 10 years This couple began their relationship all the way back in 2004. In 2008, when the California Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, DeGeneres and De Rossi made a lifetime commitment to one another. Couple: Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Length of Relationship:14 years Although they have suffered some hardships – Douglas’ diagnosis of throat cancer and a brief marital separation in 2013 – this couple has stayed strong for over a decade. Couple: David and Victoria Beckham Length of Relationship: 17 years Often referred to as Britain’s “unofficial royal couple,” David and Victoria Beckham are one of the most famous celebrity power couples.
