Three Parallel Rivers National Park (Yunnan, China)
The Three Parallel Rivers National Park has many more features beyond the stunning three rivers which run parallel for over 100 km through the mountain region. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Because of the location of the park's 15 regions, it has one of the most diverse climates of the world! Some areas get over 4,000mm of rain while others get as little as 300mm of rain annually. Check out the documentary (a bit long, sorry!!) for more info about the region, the people who live in the protected areas, and the history of the rivers' importance!~~
