Their talent is unbelievable.  The video is beautiful, but on top of that there is an interesting and gorgeous take on Vivaldi and Disney.  Who knew?!!?

Does anyone here play either the piano or the cello?  I tried to play keyboard but I never practice :( Certainly can't play like this!

What If The Story Went This Way?

Beauty and the Beast: I saw this posted on Facebook (original artist was not tagged, sorry!) and people were discussing whether or not the story could be written this way. Some people said no, because the princesses always needed to be pretty to appeal to the audience, or that men would never give a hideous woman a chance... Others said that this could totally work, and would have possibly made an even more interesting story! For me, I can't imagine a "beastly" girl with a horrible attitude (because remember, Beast is really mean in the beginning) having a handsome man fall in love with her. I could see if she had a nice personality and looked like an animal it could work, but not if she was mean. And why is that!? Why is it always okay for the men to be assholes in the beginning (think of so many romantic comedies!) but we give them a chance anyway. It's so rare that rude women eventually soften and become the love interest. I'm surprised by myself that I can't imagine it. Very strange... I'd love to hear what you think!

Japanese-born, Chicago-based flutist Yukie Ota encountered an unusual obstacle as she played in the first round of the hugely competitive Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in Odense, Denmark, which includes flutists aged 13 to 29. As Ota played for the judges, a butterfly first landed in her hair and then settled on her left eyebrow as she continued to perform. So like all Asians, or at least the most common ones, I play the piano, but all that classical shizz is srsly really boring. So I play Kpop, jgmb829 is literally the best place for short music and he/she gives a cover so you can hear the sheet music played. it's awesome and the transposition is really accurate too so yeah. I'm a bit of a music junkie. I've played piano since I was 6, fiddled with the guitar and ukulele, and have a dad who is incredibly musical. Charlie Siem Will Make You Love Classical Music

Sweet, Sweet Music Growing up playing violin, I've always loved classical music. Apparently this is not a very cool interest (in school or out of it). And that's a shame because classical music is so divine and perfectly suited to soundtrack all aspects of your life, from the bedroom to the gym (#nerdalert). Not convinced? Enter: Charlie Siem, British violinist and part-time model (because, of course). One look at this pretty face should peak your interest. Blue steel + classical music = perfection. Brb, modeling for his BFF Karl Lagerfeld, amongst others. So what if he does the same look every time? It's moody and he's a tortured artist. Look, hipsters, NPR likes him! As if you needed more reason to become a Vivaldi groupie. Casually performing a piece he composed (because, of course). Who doesn't love Czardas? The Ultimate Test If you look at this image, will you actually like the Brahms Violin Sonata? So, did it work? Can you at least tolerate classical music now?

Music Appreciation

I just want to take a second to appreciate not only this song, but soft piano tunes in general, but specifically this song. I have anxiety when driving but it gets extremely bad in traffic and when it's raining. Today my driving journey included both of those. I'm pretty good at calming myself to a degree of the bearable but once this song and its vibrations started mellow-ing through my speakers, all that tension slowly started to melt away. If that's not what you call soothing the soul, I don't know what is. Piano music really does something to me and for me. Thank you musical melodies and vibrations.
