My Thoughts:
VERY intriguing so far! There are only 2 episodes out so far and it's very suspenseful and thrilling. This isn't really a spoiler but Baek Heesung/Do Hyunsoo (Lee Joongi) is suspected to be a serial killer but has changed his identity and has married Cha Jiwon (Moon Chaewon) who happens to be a cop. The two of them have a kid together, however, there's a kicker being that Heesung/Hyunsoo lacks emotions. Something he seems to have gotten from his father who is also said to be a serial killer. Note, this is not really a spoiler since all this is revealed within the confines of the first 2 episodes. I find this plot-line to be very new, at least to the Korean drama scene. The only Korean drama I can even pit against this one in being similar is Kill It and that is because the male in that drama is also a murderer, but their backgrounds are entirely different. You could say that Psychopath Diary is slightly similar, however, that drama is a comedy and is based off the idea of a misunderstanding. Even though we haven't been fully exposed to the idea that Heesung/Hyunsoo is infact a murderer we still see him doing stuff that someone who is innocent wouldn't do. I find this interesting.

Another thing I like is that we get to see a character who has trouble showing emotions. This isn't something new to the K-Drama scene for we have seen similar variations in dramas such as It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Dr. Frost, Stranger (Forest of Secrets), and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. It is nice to see characters that aren't perfect if that makes any sense!

I am definitely curious to see where this drama leads and to find out if Heesung/Hyunsoo is actually a murderer or if he's being falsely accused and us the audience are being tricked!

Bride of the Water God- Review
Plot according to Wiki When the narcissistic water god Ha-baek (Nam Joo-hyuk) visits earth in order to find a stone powerful enough to help him claim his throne, he seeks out the help of his servant and destined bride, psychiatrist So-ah (Shin Se-kyung), whose family is fated to serve the water god for generations. The problem is that she has no belief in the gods and initially mistakes him for suffering from delusions. Things get even stranger when the wind god Bi-ryeom (Gong Myung), the water goddess Mu-ra (Krystal), and the semi-god Hu-ye (Lim Ju-hwan) show up to complicate things. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bride_of_Habaek My Take Water God Ha baek is sent to earth to gather 3 god stones from 3 other gods who were entrusted with them. Which where Moo-Ra and Bi Ryeom, and Joo Dong. He needs to collect the stones before the red times comes in for the sixth time in his world. The high priest also tasks him to find out why the god stones are placed in the human realm. When he first comes to earth he loses the coordinates of the stones, the map, and his powers. His faithful servant and lower god Nam So-Ri tries to help him as much as he can but they can’t seem to find what they are looking for. They find the God’s servant So-Ah and try to awaken her. He doesn’t awake her and So-Ah believes he has mental issues and being a psychiatrist she keeps turning him away to go to a hospital that is better suited to help what she believes is his particular needs. Along the way she meets Moo-Ra and Bi Ryeom. Bi Ryeom happens to be a former classmate of hers. She gets placed in danger because of these gods and Ha baek ends up getting powers back only to save her. So-Ah’s medical practice is endanger but she ends up encountering CEO Shin Hoo-ye who ends up fascinated with So-Ah’s personality. Over the course of the show we find out CEO Shin is part god part human and that the other god’s fear and do not tolerate him. So-Ah’s personality she believes he is a good human and gives him warmth and he ends up falling in love with her but Ha baek is in love with her and Moo-Ra is in love with Ha baek and Bi Ryeom is in love with Moo-Ra. This love square ensures hilarity and risky situations that entertain and break your heart, while still trying to help Ha baek become king/emperor over the god realm. Why I like this drama I really like this drama because the plot moves so seamlessly and kept my attention for all 16 episodes. The actors and actresses did really well portraying emotions and developing their characters. I feel we saw depth and just 2-dimensionals characters we would expect from an adaptation of a magna. The chemistry was great among the main characters and supporting characters and the little side stories enriched the overall plot. I felt that Ha baek character going from arrogant to one that could relate to human was indeed great but the development of Bi-Ryeom and Moo-Ra’s relationship was one that stood out and made me feel happy that they got a happy ending as well. I feel this drama definitely answered all and any questions that it brought to a viewer's mind well watching. It is light hearted at times, funny, emotional, and really endearing. I give this drama a solid 4/5 or 8.5/10.
