Need a stir-fried noodle/rice fix while you're in Sinchon? Let me tell you about one of my favorite spots: Noodle Box!
If the awesome take-out boxes or wooden spoons don't win you over, the food will definitely persuade you.
As an appetizer, I order the Thai wings, which were sweet and spicy with a slight chili kick. The food is made to order so the wings were very hot and crispy - which is the best combination ever. It wasn't overly sticky or sweet, which is what I dislike about many Thai-spiced wings. Basically, this was a winner!
I ordered Pad Thai Noodles and my friend ordered the Mi Goreng. Both of these were so good in their own way.
Pad Thai: Had all of the fixings, such as ground peanut, bean sprouts, shrimp, and egg. It was the most popular item on the menu and did not disappoint! The noodles were very chewy and not overly cooked, nor was the sauce very oily. All in all, it was a great, filling, and harmonious dish.
Mi Goreng: This noodle dish was a little spicy, which is noted by the chili icon on the menu. I really liked this dish because the chili kick gave the noodles a new flavorful dimension. This dish incorporated chicken, making it protein-packed and filling. The noodles, again, were very well made and not overly cooked.
I will definitely be back here again! The service was quick and efficient, and fairly priced!
