Isn't Got7 having a comeback in November? Or was that just a rumor?
@MelissaGarza I didn’t see anything about them having one when I researched on the sites I usually research on but they could’ve very well announced it and the sites may not have updated the lists yet. So it’s highly likely that’s the case.
@MelissaGarza yeah I googled it just now and Soompi says they will. When a date or the sites update with them on if I’ll definitely add them in.
@Halsyeon Awesome! I was hoping the rumors were true. I need a Got7 Comeback

BTS Fire and WTF Is Tropical House?
Alright y'all, we're going to talk about a topic that affects each and every one of us: TROPICAL HOUSE. It's a subgenre of house music that is influenced by instruments such as steel drums usually used in Jamaican, Cuban, etc music. It's been getting more and more popularity these days but I was still surprised to hear it in at BTS song! It is most noticeable in Rap Mon's part at 2:15. That awesome sound in the back? That's classic Tropical House music! Here are some more examples if you dig that sound: Jeremih - Don't Tell 'Em Thanks to @Lizzeh for reminding me about this awesome example!!!! Justin Bieber - Sorry & What Do You Mean Beibs made his comeback completely backed by this music. It sounds fresh, fun, and you CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT. Kygo - Stay Often referenced as the king of the rebirth of TropHouse, Kygo is your go-to DJ if you want nothing but Tropical House in your ears. Skrillex and Diplo - Where Are Ü Now This was the song that really brought the sound to mainstream recently. Those "dolphin sounds" or however you choose to describe it...yup, TropHouse. Fifth Harmony - Worth It & Work It's leaking into the girl group pop scene too with Fifth Harmony using an almost 8-bit take on Trop-Pop. Still groovy. Jamie XX - Loud Places And then we have Jamie XX that combines his smooth sleepy sounds from the XX with the catchy pop of Tropical House. Needless to say, it was love at first listen. Even though it has existed for a long time (and the influences that inspired existed looooooooooong before) I'm glad to hear more of it now in mainstream music! Enjoy!
Why Are These Kids At A Rave?
The 1990s were a simpler time - at least in the realm of kid birthday parties. You went out for laser tag or group-watched a movie. You had slumber parties or rented the 'party room' at your local roller rink. However, sometime between then and now, Skrillex happened - which brings us to the latest trend in children's birthday parties - KIDDIE RAVES. Introducing CirKiz - it's like that neon EDM-packed post-apocalypse you used to go to in college. But with safer goodie bags. You got your wildin' out, glowstick-wielding white bros. Guy with a cool haircut working the 1's and 2's. The person who's been going hard on fruit punch all night. And the one in the corner, currently regretting the fruit punch. CirKiz was created by some NYC-based, EDM-loving parents - Jesse Sprague and Jenny Song - who wanted to create a special place "where families can listen and dance to DJs, see live performances, and experience a nightclub environment in a safe, controlled daytime setting." Available in both New York and London, parents can choose one of several popular warehouse venues and trendy nightclubs for their CirKiz-sponsored event. One such venue, I was surprised to learn, is Cielo, a New York spot known for hosting some pretty 'high-brow' house and trance DJs. In fact, that's exactly where Jesse and Jenny first came up with their Cirkiz idea: "We had [our son's] 1st birthday party at Cielo. We invited friends with kids and friends without. It was so much fun for everyone we decided to make it an annual event but in different clubs. The message we got from all our friends was clear and consistent: 'You should do this professionally and turn it into a business... I'd pay to go.' So after years of just doing it for fun, we finally got our act together and did exactly that." Currently, CirKiz is hosting a 'winter series' of raves at NYC's Space Ibiza on Sundays, where ticket prices range from $15 - 20 per person. You can check out more details at their official website or you can be like me and just stare at these pictures, feeling equal parts confused and disturbed. With that being said: What do you guys think? Is combining kids and rave culture a good idea or bad idea? Let me know in the comments below. (Also shout-out to the LED robot in this picture up here. For a part-time job, that's - admittedly - rad as hell.)
The SM Universe [SM Is Now Connecting Their Groups Sort of Like the Marvel Universe]
For those of you that do not know SM is now starting their own universe similiar to that of the Marvel Universe. What is the Marvel Universe you might ask if you are not a Superhero fan? Well it's where all the stories converge, for instance Spider-Man is a series on it's own and Iron Man is as well, however, the two are happening in the same world/universe. So, whenever you're watching the most recent Spider-Man (with Tom Holland) you know in the back of your mind that Iron Man is also a superhero fighting alongside Spider-Man even though you do not seem him. And Marvel has shown us films like The Avengers where all the heroes come together. SM is doing this. It first started in a Super M music video! Super M - ONE (Monster & Infinity) At the very end of ONE we see the entirety of Super M's original introduction teasers flash across the screen (which could mean the universe started at that point in time) and in a way Super M are the Avengers like SM likes to (now) call them. The members all come from different groups so for example: (just to note they are not really representing these heroes, I'm just using this as an example to further my point) Taemin is Iron Man, Baekhyun and Kai are Thor, and Taeyong, Mark, Lucas, and Ten are Spider-Man. They all come together into the same group, aka the same Universe. All of their concepts, for example EXO's with EXOPlanet and NCT's futuristic/space-like concept they have going on smash together into one Universe. Is EXOPlanet a planet in which WayV has been traveling to in the Moonwalk music video? We do NOT know but it's interesting to think of. Again, at the end of Super M's ONE we see Taemin holding a phone (which is a paid promotion) and many did not think anything of the two letters on the screen at first until the realization hit that AE was a hint to the debuting girl group Aespa. Moving on! The second time we see the universes connect is at the end of one of NCT U's music videos! NCT U - Make A Wish (Birthday Song) At the very end of Make A Wish music video after the SM symbol pops up we are brought into a scene of a train in which floor is filled with flowers, the words Black Mamba flashing on the station marquee, and a butterfly flies into the screen. This is an obvious hint at Aespa's Black Mamba however, at the time most fans wrote it off as a connection to NCT U's From Home or a Resonance Pt. 2 hint. Moving on! This theory is not confirmed, it is just something I noticed that was a similarity so I thought I'd mention it anyways. Taemin - Idea So, again, this is not confirmed however, I found a couple of similiarities between Taemin's Idea and Aespa's Black Mamba so I was wondering if these were maybe some hints at their MV as well. First Up, The opening scene to Idea is Taemin staring at another Taemin. Which in Aespa's universe we know they all have avatars identical to themselves. This could be a connection. Second, We see Taemin singing behind a screen that oddly when looking through to see Taemin looks similiar to that of the snake Black Mamba's skin. Thirdly, In Taemin's MV we see this figure forming out of a silver liquid, which in my opinion seems very similiar to the figure that appears out of a liquid at the end of Aespa's MV. While the figure seems to have more details in Aespa's MV we don't really see it much in either of the music videos. It's only in Taemin's for a few seconds in the first chorus and does not make another appearance at all, so I'm just curious what it's purpose even was if not to connect to Aespa's MV. Some say the figure at the end of Aespa's MV is a hint to Kai's solo debut which comes at the end of November! Could it be possible that it is true and that both of the figures in both MVs are hinting at Kai's solo? And not to mention, BoA, one of SM's longest artists lends her vocals to Taemin's Idea. You can hear her singing the "Killing Me Softly" parts. Which is an obvious hint at her upcoming comeback on December 1st. - Moving on, It comes at the end of Aespa's debut MV. Aespa - Black Mamba At the end of the music video we find ourselves in a field of flowers, BoA is standing in the middle and the same butterfly from the end of NCT U's Make A Wish flies into the screen. This is another obvious hint and teaser for BoA's upcoming comeback. Next, NCT U - 90’s Love Hello, I have discovered another connection in the 90’s Love MV.In the MV, they mention the location Kwangya. Kwangya is where Aespa’s avatars (and potentially other groups if they gain avatars as well) live. Next, NCT U - Work It At the very end of Work It we are shown NCT as 23 members hinting at their 'Resonance' comeback as 23 members. Next, Kai - Mmmh While no doubt there are some phrases such as 'Beyond the boundary' that may be alluding to the Universe the main takeaway from Kai's Mmmh is the very end of the video where any EXO fan would notice Xiumin and D.O's symbols/powers in the rock. Xiumin is supposed to be discharged on December 6th, while D.O in January of 2021 so we can expect some work from them in the future for sure! [SM Comebacks] December 1st: BoA's comeback December 4th: NCT 2020 - 'Resonance' Also there is a rumor going around that Aespa will gain 3 members, therefore in the future making them a 7-membered girl group. There was a post back in October that accurately described the tune and concept of Black Mamba and this user also talked about how Aespa would debut with 4 members, naming each of the current 4 members. This user also gave the initials of 3 members who supposedly would later debut in the group. Fans have dug up on some of the remaining female trainees at SM and have connected the dots and think this user is correct! One thing is the term Kwangya, Kwangya is a location created in the Aespa universe where the girl's avatars live. When seeing this fans discovered this is a 7 letter word and this: K - Karina W - Winter A - N - NingNing G - Giselle Y - A - Anyways guys what do you think of the SM Universe so far?? As of now the only groups seeming to be connected to the universe are Super M, NCT, Aespa, BoA, Taemin, and through their Super M connection we can only assume EXO and SHINee are connected as well. It is unknown if Red Velveet or Super Junior would be in this universe. I'd say Red Velvet definitely will be but I'm not sure if SuJu will as they are under their own sub-label and have creative control. But who knows, anything can happen?!!!
