Drawing Experiment 1 of 30 - Kasumi Tendo
Here's drawing number 1 of my experiment, the wonderful Kasumi Tendo from Ranma 1/2. This was the first time I used the stroke path function. Initially I did multiple sketches free hand with the pencil tool. Then the stroke path was used to create the crisper lines. Gaussian blur was applied at the end to remove a lot of the jagged edges. The shading was done using the airbrush and smudge tools. Also I want all my drawings done entirely on freeware programs. This one was done using GIMP. I watched the first 5 minutes to learn the stroke path tool here:

I love what you were able to do with her eyes--the shape and the glare looks great! Keep up the good work

Love the eyes!! Its so funny how her face can have so much expression when her nose and mouth are just two tiny lines :)
