"Teegy Ezzay" by Haifa Wehbe (Arabic)
www.youtube.com
I forgot how much I liked Haifa Wehbe and her personality until this song came up on my iPod while it was in shuffle! Haifa is a controversial but very popular Lebanese singer that has made waves in the Arabic music pop scene because of her sultry look and suggestive lyrics. I really like this music video because of the way it was shot its setting on a passenger train--you really get that oldworld, traditional vibe. And I think Haifa plays the role of a train cart hostess very well, haha. I found an English translation of the lyrics below! How could you think I won't believe you? Do you think that I don't know you? You are my love, you are my life And when you lie, I always believe you. I'm only going to say one word and you'll take it from me Don't you ever leave me and go away from me Do whatever you wanna do with me Even if you'll leave me, I won't leave you What makes me put up with you? Your kindness..the charm of your eyes Even if you long for me and hide it I would never be mad at you, I couldn't How could you think I won't believe you? Do you think that I don't know you? You are my love, you are my life And when you lie, I always believe you How come?

@gabyrich same here! She really plays the role of the train hostess well, and you can tell she's selling her role as an entertainer
