What do you get when you combine a guitar with an oud? MAGIC!
This video is a great example of what can happen when you combine two different instruments from different cultures, in this case the oud and the traditional guitar. The oud is a pear-shaped stringed instrument commonly used in various musical traditions of the Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Spain and the Mediterranean region. The modern oud and the European lute both descend from a common ancestor via diverging paths. The oud is readily distinguished by its lack of frets and smaller neck. It is considered an ancestor of the guitar. Wait till around 1:21 and the song gets very exciting! Hope you enjoy!

@onesmile I think I understand what you meant, the sound is much "heavier" than the guitar, or full like you said

@gabyrich this was fantastic! The oud is one of my favorite instruments ever (I realize I say that a lot about most instruments, lol)
