[Foods to Avoid Feeding your Dog] Gum and Candy
Xylitol is found in candy, gum, toothpaste, baked goods and even diet foods. Xylitol can cause an increase in your dog's insulin which can lead to your dog's blood sugar dropping and also cause liver failure. Symptoms include vomiting, lethargy and loss or coordination.
Also just imagine their poor tummies trying to digest gum :(

I think people should just stick to giving their dogs organic food and make their treat at home.

I would never think to give my dog gum but now I'll be more careful to make sure he doesn't think to eat it!
