2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 1/3 cups chilled peach nectar
1 1/3 cups chamomile-lavender simple syrup
1 cup chilled white grape juice
fresh lavender, to garnish
To Make Chamomile-Lavender Simple Syrup:
Combine 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar, and 1/4 cup chamomile lavender tea blend (basically, dried lavender and chamomile) in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Cool at room temperature for one to two hours. Strain before using.
To Make a Pitcher of Lemonade:
Combine ingredients in a large pitcher. Serve over ice. Garnish with sprigs of fresh lavender.
To Make a Single Serving:
In a tall glass, combine 1/2 cup lemon juice, 1/3 cup peach nectar, 1/3 cup simple syrup, and 1/4 cup of white grape juice. Add a few ice cubes and a sprig of lavender as a garnish.
I think this would be amazing as a spritzer, diluted with a little seltzer. Or, if you want to spice things up a bit, try adding a splash of gin! Mmmm. Boozy picnic in the park, anyone?? Recipe inspired by Better Homes and Gardens.
