bhramam movie review
Bhramam is the remake of the Bollywood movie Andhadhum. Bhramam is a crime thriller directed by Ravi k Chandran. Prithviraj is the key actor in the movie. And Mamta Mohandas, Unni Mukundan, and Rashi Khanna in lead roles. The character of Prithviraj is ray Mathews, a musician who is a pianist and performs small-scale shows in Kochi. Ray Mathews is acting as blind to get sympathy from others. And everyone believes it too. Shankar plays the role of a vintage film actor. He saw Ray from a pub and he likes his musical skill very much. So he invited Ray to his house to give a surprise to his wife on their wedding anniversary. But things take an unexpected turn From there, And Ray realizes he is in a trap. The plot of the movie changes from here onwards. In other words, the real Movie starts from here. Bhramam is a remake of the Bollywood film Andhadhun, starring Ayushman Khurrana. Bhramam lacks the impact of the Andhadhun, it has maintained quite well to keep up with the screenplay of the original. Where the film falls short is in the dialogues, but compensating for this, the film has well-written comedy scenes, more than the original. The film stars Prithviraj as Ray Mathews in the lead role. Prithviraj as a pretentious blind musician his acting was really natural. Mamta Mohandas as Simi was pretty good. She has enacted the character the best way possible. Unni Mukundan was also really good at his character Dhinesh, a police officer. Rashi Khanna as Anna was also convincing. All the characters tried to put their best in the movie. The film’s cinematography was also handled by the director himself, it was awesome. The visuals of the film stand equally best to the original film. Director has truly captured the visual treatment of the original movie and brought it to Bhramam. The music of the Bhramam is also good to hear. the dialogues are written by Sarath Balan. The dialogues were extremely dramatic sometimes and didn’t convince me well. The grey theme of the film, Bhramam has decent humor and the writer requires clever dialogue writing to keep both emotions balanced, but Bhramam missed it. Bhramam is a genuine remake of the Andhadhun, though not the best version. The film needed improvement in characterization, dialogues, and dialogue delivery. Though it has its faults, the film will never lose in holding your attention and is engaging throughout. check our website for more movie reviews.
