The Judgement (Thai Drama Recommendation)
Episodes: 13 Genre: Suspense, Mystery, Romance, School, Drama, Angst Rating: For teens 15+ Network: GMM 25/Netflix Status: Completed Airing Aired: August 9th, 2018 - November 1st, 2018 Main Cast: (Reminder that Thai's people all go by nicknames but are often credited by their birth names. Nicknames are before the / birth names are after.) Mild/Lapassalan Jiravechsoontornkul (I've also seen her first name as this: Rapatrud) Kacha/Nontanun Anchuleepradit Peem/Jaiyen Thanabordee Nara Thepnupa Mond/Tanutchai Vijitvongthong Synopsis: When Lookkaew's happy life is upended by a family crisis, her would-be boyfriend Aud steps in to offer comfort and invites her to a party to unwind. (Source(s): Netflix/MyDramaList) My Comments: I just finished this drama. I watched it in two days. It was too good and bingeworthy. I definitely recommend this drama. However, I want to say that this drama is not for the light-hearted. It is full of angst, it is on the darker side of dramas but that's not what the point of the drama is. In the drama you will encounter many characters who have been raped, bullied, cyberbullied, and one's with suicidal thoughts. But I want to say that this drama was made to teach a lesson, it's not there to glorify any of it. It's to show you what bullying/cyberbulling does to a people. There are three different characters in this drama that experience bullying/cyberbullying through different situations, it was interesting to see how differently each of them dealt with it too. So, again do not watch this drama if you can't take a drama with a serious plot line because it's not sugarcoated. But I think lots of people can learn lessons from it! In order to not spoil anything for you I won't go any further into the plot or characters! But if you want to know more just comment and let me know! - Asian Drama/Movie Taglist: @KendraReeve @travelloveskin @MelissaGarza @KpopIsPleasing @LostMage @2ilVer @LinnyOk @rocklvr @VeronicaArtino If you'd like to be tagged in any of my Asian drama/actor stuff please let me know!

Is Hakyeon Playing A Murderer In His New Drama???
Or are we being thrown off the real murderer's case in 'Children of Nobody?' Hakyeon plays the character Lee Eunho in the new Mystery-Thriller drama 'Children of Nobody' also known as 'Red Moon, Blue Sea.' So far what we've seen from the character Lee Eunho is that he's good with children, but when he's around adults you can't help but feel something is off about him. Plus he doesn't seem to want to be seen by Kang Jiheon (the main character, who just so happens to be a police officer.) Not to spoil too much for you if you haven't started it yet, but Eunho's giving me eerie vibes!!! Storyline: A mysterious child and a mysterious case. Woo Kyung has been living a diligent life, as a good daughter and a good mother who also works as a child development consultant. She was a proud, responsible woman who fulfilled the needs of her family and the community. One day, a mysterious incident creates a rift in her world. A rift that would shatter her whole world and turn her life upside down. The only person she can rely on is Ji Heon, a Violent Crimes Unit detective, who is willing to listen to what she has to say. (Source: Viki) Anyways I'm not saying he is yet because the drama is a Mystery-Thriller drama, so they could be throwing us off. Plus we don't know Eunho's background yet!! Yoon Doo-joon has been cast to play a top actor who can’t speak a single word unless it’s been scripted for him. He’s a childish character who becomes a DJ for a live radio show, which never goes according to script. The story begins with him being trapped in a radio booth with the heroine for two hours during a live broadcast. Kim So-hyun is the radio show’s writer, with five years’ experience on the job. She deals with guests who don’t show up, appeases the immature star DJ, and takes all the crap from the production company, all with incredible endurance, planning, and action. Her trademark is her perseverance and endless optimism, and she can sleep anywhere no matter how small or uncomfortable the space. She’s the type of character to throw herself into action rather than debate whether something is possible. (Source) -- Are any of you watching these dramas? MBC Strike: What This Means for Kpop Fans
MBC is finally going on strike which is completely not normal for Korea. As you probably know, the working culture in Korea is insane, especially in the entertainment industry where everyone involved (not just the actors) often work 20-23 hours a day. There have recently been un uptick in suicides by writers and producers because of the immense stress put on them. MBC is also known here in Korea to be under the control of bigger powers, such as the old president who was impeached. Rather than sharing the real news, the anchors were forced to spin stories to be positive for the president and to support her because the owners of the station were being put under pressure by the corrupt government. Basically MBC is just bad news, and the workers are sick of it. As of this week, the workers have all stopped coming to work meaning unless something was previously recorded, there will be no news, no radio, no dramas, no nothing, until they get what they want (way better working conditions and probably a way better CEO) Because of this, it looks like a music festival has been cancelled as well. BTS V and Twice Dahyun were going to host it and its line up would have included BTS, TWICE, Red Velvet, B1A4, BTOB, Teen Top, B.A.P, MAMAMOO, GFRIEND, BLACKPINK, iKON, EXID, NU’EST W, Lovelyz, ASTRO, and PRISTIN. To be honest, I don't really care that this was cancelled, as I'd much rather have thousands of people's lives improved than watch a few groups perform one or two songs each that we've already heard before. I'm sad if this was anyone's one chance to see these groups live (like if they were vacationing to korea) but in the long run I think it will help a lot more people than it will inconvenience. Here's to hoping the working conditions of people behind the shows we love so much improve greatly <3
