Methods to fix Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this product error
Type the license key carefully
This is one of the most common reasons behind this error as the user enters the incorrect key. While entering the key, you should always recheck the key and then press the activate button. If the user enters the wrong key to 3-4 times then your account may get blocked temporarily. If you have received the key on your email address then instead of typing, copy the whole key string and paste it. Copying the key from your email address reduces the mistype error.
Check the resource requirements
You can also get into an invalid license when you are trying to install an incompatible Office setup on your computer. Every Office plan has few system requirements which means you can’t install every Office setup on your device. Before purchasing the Office, always check your device specification. Now check for all the Office plans which are compatible with your computer. Install and activate a compatible Office plan on your device.
