Another JD Salinger cocktail! Shannon Mcintyre Hooper explains her cocktail inspired by a character of one of her favorite novels, Franny and Zooey. "This cocktail is a riff on the traditional martini, which Franny sipped so carefully during her date with Lane; but like her, it has much more depth, via a spin of sherry and some Yellow Chartreuse to reflect her religiosity. Make it yourself! 1.5 oz Hayman’s Old Tom Gin 1.5 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth .25 oz PX Sherry a couple dashes of orange bitters Stir and serve over ice. Strain into a cocktail coupe, and serve with a float of Yellow Chartreuse and an orange twist."

I love Franny and Zooey! I'm not a huge fan of Sherry but maybe I'll just use this recipe as a guide :)
