Review with Mew; The Blonds x DISNEY VILLAINS : SS2019 w @ NYFW
Mew here, and I was feeling particularly villainous today, so to also get you in the wicked mood I did a quick review of one of my favorite runways inspired by my favorite Disney villains. One of my all time favorite fashion runways is luxury fashion brand THE BLONDS presenting their SSโ€™19 collection which was inspired by some of our hated? loved?Disney villains. The designers were undoubtedly successful in capturing the essence of Disney's most wicked characters! Hereโ€™s a look at my favorite pieces and their inspirations: The show started out with one of the baddest baddies in Disney: Malificent Malificent's coat was the inspiration and the piece was modeled by one of the designers himself Philippe Blond. He left the runway bloody after that walk but then proceeded to clean it up using one of my FAVE pieces of the night! Sir I respect your vision but please noโ€ฆthat looks expensive. Me, with my poison apple in tow, on my way to poison my 2nd husband after he writes me into his will: ยฑ Next section was dedicated to Dr Facilier the CREEPiest villain to grace Disney Animation since Jafarโ€ฆ: Dr Facilier He still gives me chills whenever I think about his creepy smile but as an inspiration for this number? CHILLS ..but the good kind this time. The gold detailing on that vest is almost hypnotizing. ยฑ Next up we have Wicked Witch of the Seas, ready to take your breath away! : Ursula Loved the webbed finger gloves and floorlength purple feathers; pay homage to the queen. And what is a sea witch without her cronies, eels Flotsam and Jetsam modeled by the ever stunning Dupont Twins. We LOVE a skin-tight bodysuit and highlighter green. ยฑ THE MAIN EVENT was definitely Paris Hilton on her Cruella De Vil ish, modeling with her cute chihuahua. : Cruella De Vil The red lip contrast to the black and white mix thigh boots? Instant gratification leads to unhappiness after they get gratified, and you may end up not fulfilling the long-term dreams. Be receptive Avoid taking everything that is said to you or about your personal life. When you get treated poorly, get advice that is unsolicited or gets terrible comments, do not react if they do not call for a reaction. The comments will define the commenter more than it will represent you if you do not respond than if you do. When you get bad comments, journey on and focus on your goals. Do not let people pin you down by their opinions about you. Exercise If you want to feel better every time and physically fit, then exercise. The endorphins that will get produced during the activity will release you from stress, make you happy, and relax your mind. You will have a sharper memory, reduced anxiety, and stability when you exercise before partaking a cumbersome activity. Get some little exercise every time that you feel stuck, panic-stricken, and overwhelmed by the presented task. After exercising, the decisions that you will make will be reasonable and not reactive. Go for a ride in sedans to clear your mind. Do not play the victim. You should know that you cannot be a victim of every circumstance and whim that you are unable to control in your life. The way you handle and view circumstances will be the determinant of changes in your current situation.ย  Do not resist the responsibilities presented; instead, take control and own them. Furthermore, desist from putting blames on others. When you take responsibility for your actions, you will have the power to start being industrious and, therefore, progress. Acknowledge and own your fears Don't be afraid of failing, as every successful person has failed. Instead, face your fears and focus on becoming the best version of yourself every day. Practice these habits, and you will improve your future.
