A Guide to Employee Performance Management

With annual performance reviews, it's important to understand what is being measured. Is it an employee's ability to get tfheir job done? This is task-based performance, and it's important but it doesn't cover everything. If a company is looking for employee engagement, this is the wrong place to start. It's important to figure out all the things that go into a great performance review.
It's time for your annual review. You've been putting in more hours at the office and getting more projects done than ever before, and you're feeling pretty good about your work to increase productivity. So you're not too worried when your boss calls you into his office. Then he tells you that, despite your best efforts, you're just not a good fit for the position. You've been let go. But before you get too upset, here's what you can do to avoid that situation in the future.

Employee Performance Checker

Managers are in a constant tug-of-war with their employees to get them to work harder and be more productive. The latest weapon in the manager's arsenal is tracking time spent at the office, which has become the norm for many companies. The practice has its advantages: it's a quick-and-easy way to monitor productivity and flag employees who might be slacking off. But it can also be an insidious intrusion into the workday, which winds up making employees feel like cogs in a machine and eroding their trust in management.

How To Kick-Start Employee Engagement In Your Workplace?
Understanding the concept of engagement is not as easy as judging whether they are “engaged” or “disengaged”–most employees fall somewhere within this range. Where they fall on that scale is likely to have a larger influence on your organisation ’s goals than you can ever imagine. Employee engagement might mean the difference between an employee who simply gets by and one who consistently goes above and beyond. The good news is that employee engagement is now easier to assess and improve than it has ever been.✅ The bad news is that it continues to be a focus, owing to the fact that many businesses still require significant assistance in developing a company culture of engaged employees.😬 Don't be concerned about the link between employee engagement and investment returns. According to a Gallup study, even in difficult economic circumstances, organisations with the most employee engagement have the best financial performance. The challenge for anyone in a managerial position should be obvious: how can I engage my employees?🤔 To begin, keep in mind that employee engagement is not an annual "HR program" to cross off your to-do checklist. The biggest challenge is to create the right conditions for your employees to give their best efforts. However, this is only half the story. Employee engagement should occur naturally on both sides, with not just managers, but individual employees holding themselves responsible for creating a happy work experience that improves performance.🚀 How To Kick-Start Employee Engagement In Your Workplace?  To help you with a surefire plan to increase employee engagement, whether you’re a manager or an employee, I will offer you a few knick-knacks!😉 How leaders should engage their employees: Make your staff feel like equals in the firm and as though they have a part in the future of the organisation. Give them a sense of ownership! They're more likely to perform better.🚀 In your boss-employee relationships, be open and communicate effectively. Allow your employees to learn about what's going on in other departments and give them the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions. Don't be hesitant to give them additional duties that will allow them to learn more. Treat them with courtesy and respect, and cultivate friendly relationships with them, to understand them on a deeper level. Prove to them that you don't simply see them as workers but as a part of the tribe. Don't just come up with a plan and then walk away. Ask your staff for feedback on a regular basis to see what's working and what isn't. You must have your finger on the pulse if you want to sustain a culture of happy and satisfied employees.😊 How employees should engage their company (and one another): You'll feel better if you assist a peer or colleague. According to this study, helping somebody for 10 to 30 minutes per day makes you feel like you have more time, not less. Look for a chance to learn something new within your company: Engage in a cross-functional project, acquire a new skill, or organize or attend a "lunch & learn."😍🤘 Set short- and long-term targets that you can get excited about and that offer you a sense of direction. These can be small side projects or items that are in line with your goal or vision. To make those goals more manageable, break them down into smaller parts, as demonstrated here.  Thank your coworkers with digital praise and appreciation by recognizing them for everyday accomplishments and going above and beyond using employee recognition tools. Then tell the rest of the staff about your success. The positive impact of this technique has been clearly established. At work, form strong bonds. Gallup discovered that employees who form friendships at work are more productive and engaged. 😃 Now it's your turn: how do you keep your employees engaged? And, as an individual, how do you engage yourself at work?
6 Proven Techniques To Save Expenses In Your Business
If you’re an intelligent entrepreneur, then you must know techniques that can help your business. Many business owners don’t spend time when their expenses are going. However, you should keep track of business expenses for small businesses, especially when you need to travel and stay in hotels regularly for work-related matters. It is tricky to do all this. Indeed, this is a precarious situation; if you’re not looking at the outgoing expenses, then there are few chances you’ll find the remedy to your problem. Businesses are always seen as the launchpad to generate money. So, even though you have put your feet in the business world, why do small-business owners waste money on things they don’t need? That’s where technology emerges as your best companions; you can use an online expense tracker that’ll keep giving you regular updates on your cash flow. According to a Business Insider report, the cash-flow problems account for more than 82 percent of small-business failures. It is nearly double the second most intrinsic factor (market need for the product). If you run a small business, you will be more likely to succeed by selling products no one wants than a weak cash flow. Reducing expenses can be tricky, though. How can you tap the investment leakage, which fees are necessary and which one isn’t? Meeting necessary expenses is like opening the gateway for earning or differentiating your business from the competition. If you’re paying a lot in the advertisement, that’ll get you rich dividends, but you instantly need to address service lines and chop expenses if you’re spending in multiple channels. 1. Bartering Services Bartering is different from paying the price of the products/services. It is all about swapping products or services. You can constantly offer them a product/service for free (or at a steeply discounted rate). An age-old practice. The idea of trading with your neighbors within your community is receiving a significant boost in the community. You can often bring a materialistic, ownership-based society with the Internet’s ability to bring buyers, sellers, and traders together and spark a wealth of new sites and communities. According to a survey, an average US household income falls behind 2000 and 2009; people explore new goods & services most affordably. Today, you’ll find various niche and large-scale sharing sites, making it challenging to find the right business needs. 2. Outsource Work To Virtual Assistants (VAs) Ideally, a virtual prospect when it comes to executing tasks. You’ll find great places to work for one-off projects like Upwork and asking for your professional work. You’ll likely know someone has a presence who needs work. Some places help deliver important projects like Upwork. It means you’ll be spending time with assistants like Robots. You’ll spend some money, but it’ll save time and is vital for your projects. Everyone has the same time, but the value of time varies from person to person. A Few Popular Platforms like: • Fiverr • Upwork • Freelancer.com 3. Try Co-working Instead Of Full Space Co-working spaces are popping up all over the world and becoming more and more popular. These aren’t just offices for millennial entrepreneurs anymore; huge companies invest in these spaces to give their employees a more laid-back place to work. Some of the more popular options are WeWork, Regus, Industrious, and there are tons of local one-off spaces. So I highly recommend you just go to Google and type in “co-working spaces” to find the nearest ones. Pros: • Avoid a long lease • Free coffee (and often beer!) • Community gatherings (sometimes including free food) • Free events • Amazing networking opportunities with other business owners in your area Cons: • It can get expensive if you have a ton of employees. 4. Buy Used Equipment Refurbished computers can be a big thing, especially when the prices are touching an all-time high. This way, you can save useful bucks, and the company will allow you to make the machine. Usually, people have some reservations about refurbished items- they are cheap because they have some hidden defects. However, it has some cosmetic differences. The only thing you have to be careful about is not going for “non certified refurbished” and ensuring you get the right quality out of it. 5. Work Out your Marketing Techniques Marketing your products is not as easy it sounds. You may find this sometimes tricky. However, when you try something, you can spend hours on either hiring someone and spending. The business expense tracker app will get you a fair idea when you get things started. That’s how your expert opinion matters. Time is changing very rapidly. If marketing is not something, you’re knowledgeable about, it makes no sense to get and spend some advice before spending. 6. Use Local Library Libraries are overlooked these days. Unless you develop a Computer Vision Syndrome or you run out of ideas. Let’s hope that’s not the case. Print media is not fading at all! You should have the taste to discover what you are looking for? Free e-books/audiobooks - Most libraries have partnerships with e-book platforms like Hoopla and Overdrive. You can even borrow many audiobooks for free as well. • Effective business guide • Space rentals • Helping with market research (yes, librarians will even do it for you) • Extracting demographics data • Popular discounts on events in your area • With podcast features, you can go ahead with audio/video support. So, if you’re keen to cut short business expenses, you first need to scrutinize operation costs using expense management software feasibility. Operating Costs: A Mirror Reflection Of Your Business Fate Operating costs are critical when it comes to managing day-to-day maintenance and business administration. It commonly refers to operating expenses, expenditures, or OPEX. The primary component of operating cost is how much you’ve invested in the price of goods sold (COGS). It is the direct cost attributed to producing business goods or services. It include things like: • Labor costs, such as payroll • Maintenance and Infrastructure Costs • Employees health insurance, pensions, and health benefits • Sales commissions • Amortization • Depreciation Knowing how to measure operating costs is important because it allows you to improve your bottom line. If you’re a for-profit business, reducing operating costs will directly impact your ROI and profitability. The Final Words: Expenses are like running water; if you do not shape its direction, it’ll overflow like anything. If you’re a budding entrepreneur, then expense management software is an excellent asset for the business. These proven methods are constructive when it comes to shaping the way of business. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Go and enhance your business potential, which makes your business a successful hit.
9 Interview Questions EVERY Recruiter Should Ask Their Candidates
Interview Questions Recruiters face enough challenges as it is without worrying if they asked the right questions in an interview. It is essential when determining who the best fit for a job is. Of course, ensuring that a candidate has the required skill set is of primary concern, but it is also important to dig a little deeper and find out what kind of person they are. The goal is to snag a complete candidate, one with both the right personality and expertise. So here are the best nine interview questions for you to ask your next star candidate. 1. “What hobbies do you have?” Starting with an easy one here, and this question should be obvious for recruiters. Primarily it gives your candidate a chance to relax, but it can also offer you a key insight. For example, if they enjoy playing a lot of sport, it shows they are energetic individuals who are health conscious. If they like writing or drawing, ask them how they can transfer that creativity into their new role. Always have a follow-up question and try to revert it back to the role at hand. 2. “Tell me about your greatest professional achievement?” You want a candidate that has their sights set high, right? This question allows your potential employee to share some of their proudest professional moments. You can assess each achievement and see how ambitious they are. There is a big difference between a candidate who tells you their greatest exploit was always being on-time for work and one who boosted website traffic by 65% over a six month period. 3. “What was the biggest obstacle you have overcome?” Everyone faces certain challenges in both their personal and professional lives. What’s most important in this case is how your candidate overcame each hurdle. What did they learn from this experience? How would they deal with this obstacle if it were to happen again? It gives you an opportunity to see their problem-solving skills and how they can deal with pressures of the role. 4. “Are you interested in continuing to develop your professional skills and knowledge?” Continuous learning has seen rapid changes and growth, with companies looking to upskill and nurture their workers. Learning has become a key goal for companies, with many encouraging their employees to partake in various courses in order to improve their base level. You want your candidate to believe in continuous learning and know that the business values their personal and professional progression. 5. “Can you tell me what the key trends are in this industry?” Every industry has its own niche trends that are constantly changing. See if your candidate is up-to-date and informed about the latest insights. It’s important to understand the industry you work in, and if your candidate is ill-informed from the get-go, then that alone should be a telling sign. 6. “What is your biggest strength?” A much more comprehensive question compared to the now mundane “what are your weaknesses?” archetype. Candidates predict the latter and generally have a bland, pre-prepared answer. When asking about strengths, it allows the interviewee to paint their skills and traits in a positive light and generate a greater variety of answers. 7. “Tell me about a time when you got it all wrong?” This question allows you to see how honest your candidate is. No one is perfect, and a dishonest answer should be a major red flag for any recruiter. When the interviewee extrapolates, ask them what they’ve learned from the tough experience. Admitting to errors or blunders also shows that they can take ownership of situations and look for solutions rather than transfer blame. 8. “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” You want your star candidate to think ahead. Only ambitious employees will truly push the boundaries, and that’s the kind of person you want working in your company. It also gives insight into how long the candidate might plan on staying at your business. The right candidate will list their career goals and be a motivated individual who is looking for career progression. 9. “Do you have any questions for me?” A candidate that doesn’t take the opportunity to ask questions is missing out or is struggling to think of a question off the top of their head. Even simple queries like: “how long will the probation period be?” or “what learning opportunities will be available to me?” are most definitely a positive look. It shows that the candidate is fully invested in the position and sees it as a long-term investment. This Post origioally featured at Khawaja Manpoer's Blog
Latest Trends in AI Recruiting to watch for in 2021 and beyond
In the Black & White age of Human Resource procedures and recruitment, things were simpler than they are today. The reason being that the demands, challenges, and options that HR managers had then were very unlike today. The recruitment world has evolved. It is going to evolve even more. Skill sets have changed and are frequently changing even more. Candidates look at jobs and careers in extremely new ways now. Also, their priorities have changed and they are not even hanging out in the same places anymore. That is why traditional recruitment techniques stand miles apart from modern methods i.e., AI-based recruitment.  So what are the latest trends in AI recruiting? Traditional recruiting methods lack in the range of interaction-platforms and sourcing of talent. All recruiters had was conferences/seminars, workshops, newspaper advertisements, referrals, recruitment agencies, promotions from within the companies, internal job-boards, and intra-organizational hiring. Today, the world is open and unbounded. You can find your desired talent anywhere – on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn community, in college events, with intelligent robots trawling the web, through AI-based resume-processing, via sharp data analytics and virtual tools. The attractive part is that the candidates these days expects to meet a prospective recruiter in these cool places. Plus, recruiters now realize the value and tendency of performing workers and passive workers. They might seem too eccentric but they can be extremely suitable to add the value and productivity that the organization needs in recent scenarios. To add to that, diversity and inclusion have become essential hallmarks of today’s recruitment approaches. Imagine the number of days HR managers in the past would take to assess a pile of resumes or wait for an employment agency to serve a pool of candidates for starting interviews. Consider the money that would be spent in posting for, looking for, meeting, interviewing, influencing, and on-boarding these candidates. When you compare traditional and AI-based recruitment methods, you cannot help but notice the change. An AI algorithm can scrutinize through mountains of potential resumes or profiles in a matter of seconds, a bot can schedule the recruitment process at the tap of a finger and even take away the burden of basic interactions and orientation of candidates. New recruitment methods can shrink the entire cycle of recruitment by using AI-based and technology-driven recruitment techniques. The biggest difference in AI-based and traditional recruitment methods is the luxury of knowing whether a recruitment exercise worked. There’s no more ambiguity in recruiting with the influence of analytics and real-time information. Recruiters can know, during and post-recruitment, if the hired candidate is delivering as per expectation, suitable for the organization, productivity, performance, ability, and value. These tools help to measure the employee-side of the experience, supporting organizations to improve employee satisfaction, helpfulness, and retention rates. Data can be provided and administered at every tiny stage of the recruitment cycle, allowing recruiters to adjust and align well to changes and challenges. This data also aids an applicant know what is happening and how much time the whole process will consume. They can click a button and interact with chatbots to catch up on basic queries and supply routine assessments. The recruitment technology is evolving, and AI is fast becoming a mandatory tool in every recruiter’s toolbox. In the recent past, AI has proved that it can do a lot more than expected; its capabilities have been tested, and a lot of upgrades and improvements have come through since then. Here we will look at the biggest AI trends that are nurturing the recruitment landscape. Programmatic Job Advertising This type of job advertisement uses Artificial Intelligence to purchase, distribute, and enhance job ads. These job ads appear over the web without human interference. The Programmatic job analyzes the data captured through the market and the employer’s historical background of ad tracking to discover how the ad will perform. Following this, it makes informed scheduling and placement decisions for job ads. To make it simple, the programmatic job advertising places the true job ad, at the correct time, on the correct platform, to reach the exact candidates. Recruitment Marketing Software Recently, there’s been a slow and gradual shift from advertising to marketing in terms of staffing strategy. Nowadays, the recruitment marketing software focus on the two most vital parameters of a recruitment strategy – create tempting job ad content and build an employer brand. In today’s staffing and hiring industry, soft-selling works better in appealing to passive candidates. The recruitment marketing software converts hard-sell job ad content into something more interesting, engaging, and tempting for the targeted candidates. Interview Chatbots Chatbots have been introduced in the recruitment industry for a few years now, but their use was limited only to providing landing pages and encouraging candidates to apply for a certain job. But today, Chatbots technology has evolved and performing tasks like pre-screening candidates and even scheduling interviews. These chatbots interact in a human-sounding text conversation with applicants to collect their information, response, media, videos, and documents. These chatbots are sympathetic, instinctive, and assumptive, and they can communicate via chat, email, or text. Resume Database Filter With the help of database filtering modules, you can use your ATS resume database to filter candidates who had earlier applied for a role at your company. After successful filtering of the candidates. It checks whether this pool of candidates is a match to your current open job orders. Once the right match is found. This particular AI technology establishes contact with those candidates via social media, email, or other channels. It also looks out for their social media profiles to look for new employment history and then adds it to the candidate profile. Job Aggregators The ever-evolving job aggregators are one of the AI recruitment technologies that use bots to sneak various career sites, social channels, job boards, etc. to advertise your job posting. However, to take advantage of job aggregators, a separate URL for each job listing is required. When interested candidates navigate these job listings, they are automatically directed to the original location of the listing for the candidate to proceed with the job application. Job aggregators are also handy in checking your competitor’s listings and compare the salaries, profits, and job description content. AI-powered recruiting tools lead to more effective sourcing Using AI-powered recruiting tools helps improve the quality of candidates in your pipeline in a number of ways. In order to complete an application, a candidate must have suitable technical skills. After all, if they can’t even complete an online application. Then they may not have the right set of skills to fulfill the position. As AI recruiting performs biometrics analysis to evaluate the quality and authenticity of candidates’ responses, providing even more insight on the likelihood of a good fit. The second benefit is that AI-powered tools can filter candidates that your human recruiters may not be capable of. As a result, recruiting teams can spend more time with quality candidates, working on relationship-building and evaluating for soft skills.   AI-powered tools are efficient enough to improve the quality of the candidate pipeline by reaching passive candidates. According to recent research, 95% of candidates, recruiters try to hire are not even looking for new jobs. This is where the significance of referrals comes in, using personal social networks to spread the word about available positions. Personalized experience We’ve already mentioned the significance of chatbots, but it doesn’t end there. These days, candidates are more concerned about how they want to interact with potential employers as well. Many think the key to a great candidate experience lies in personalization. This goes past discretely addressed emails and outspreads to tools that make candidates feel special or unique. In traditional recruiting methods, only a human recruiter could offer such an experience. With the progress of AI technology outcomes, employers will be able to rely on AI-powered tools to help recruiters accomplish the same goals. Some AI tools now provide ‘real life’ conversations in text, and Google has already taken that to the next level with its voiced AI assistant that is impressive, to say the least. It’s particular to the point of connecting on a human-to-human level. Reducing Bias Unconscious bias is possibly one of the most common and hard-to-overcome difficulties to quality recruiting. If decision-making is driven by machine learning algorithms and insights. Latest trend in AI recruiting can help eliminate such biases. Thus, creating a more objective and fair hiring process. Fewer errors The lesser the human interaction, the lesser are the chances of human error. The tasks performed with Artificial Intelligence and machine learning are less likely to result in errors and more likely to improve the efficacy of the hiring process. Furthermore, with artificial intelligence recruiting, employers and recruiters can spend more time with candidates and less time doing repetitious tasks, ultimately leading to higher productivity and lower cost per hire. New employee onboarding Use of AI technology in recruitment industry can help in reducing the administrative burden of the onboarding process. Employee onboarding software also allows recruitment firms to ensure a 24/7 onboarding. AI chatbots can answer specific questions and guide applicants through the various aspects of their onboarding. As a result, new hires can integrate faster. Rerouting candidates Another new thing that AI is bringing into the world of recruiting is rerouting candidates. This means, if a candidate is not a suitable fit for a particular job. Then, they will be rerouted or directed to another company. This, firstly will help companies reach the right talent tool easily. While, secondly, will open new opportunities for candidates looking for a job, ultimately resulting in higher employment level. According to a recent survey, many companies are following this concept. Many others will join the bandwagon. In others words, the numbers are predicted to increase in future.    Click here to request a RecruitBPM ATS Product tour. This post Origionally featured at RecruitBPM's Blog
Employee V/s Entrepreneur | Which Path to choose in 2021?
Introduction to Employee V/s Entrepreneur Employee V/s Entrepreneur. You must have listened to both words. Moreover, Entrepreneurship has become quite popular over the past years. Instead of working as an employee, many people want to start their own business. You may have also listened to your parents, relatives, or people saying to have a secure job. What is right? Should we choose a job and feel secure in our life because entrepreneurship, starting your own business is very risky. While being an entrepreneur can have many important advantages, there are also some issues related to it. Till now you were confused between job and entrepreneurship but after reading this article you will be cleared and you will make a decision on your own, what to do? Because I know both worlds and give you all the pros and cons of employee v/s entrepreneur in the following article. In today’s world, people are very much confused about what to do. Should they take some risk and leave their 9-5 job, or should they build a business with their job? Should people who have their own business also close it? There are unlimited questions like this, but that all questions will be solved as today you will learn the pros and cons of entrepreneurship, job, and shifting from job to entrepreneur. First, let’s see what are the conventional concepts and things which we have been taught till now about employee v/s entrepreneur. What have we been taught about jobs and entrepreneurship? Generally, in most families, we have been taught about having a secured job. The thing which most parents want their children to have is a secured job. But according to the conference board, 53% of Americans are currently unhappy at their job. Then why do they say so? To let their children be unhappy? So we have to choose entrepreneurship right? But According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data, shows that approximately 20% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 45% during the first five years, and 65% during the first 10 years. Only 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more. We can say that 90% of startups fail. This clearly means there is a lot of risk in entrepreneurship than a job. Because we get at least job security and we get a paycheck every month in the job. But have you seen any millionaire or anyone who is fulfilling his dreams and is successful because of his job? People who are billionaires today were always entrepreneurs, never at jobs. But no one in our society generally talks about entrepreneurs, they just talk about jobs or self-employed. So what to choose? We will look into it. This was just what have we been taught. Pros And Cons Of Being An Employee V/s Entrepreneur Pros Of Being An Employee It is not a secret that many people hate their jobs. For some people, it’s because of their boss or colleagues. For others, it’s because of the perceived lack of work-life balance. Regardless of the reasons, there are also many benefits of working a 9-to-5 job that could lead you to think otherwise. Let’s have a look at some of them: #1 Regular Paycheck Whether the business is in loss or profit, it is the best thing about the job is a regular paycheck. Like if you have done any EMI, then you don’t have to worry about that. In fact, a paycheck is the most exciting thing for many peoples. If you are in a job, then just imagine the time when the paycheck comes. You have your widest smile while seeing the text of salary, haven’t you? Why? Because money cannot buy you happiness but can give you stability and security. It gives you a kind of feeling of security and independence. As long as you will give value to the company, you will receive a paycheck. #2 A Sense Of Identity Have you visited your relative party, or any kind of party, meetups, meetings? What is the question someone asks you there if he doesn’t know you? First, he asks your name, and then in most cases after that What do you do? At this time job gives you an identity. Though many people hate their job in this situation they proudly say their position. For Example, Your Name, FBI. This is the benefit of having a job as it will give you a perfect definition of who you are. #3 Experience You may have listened to people saying before starting your own business, you should once be in the job. Even I believe that before starting your own business, you must gain experience of business by doing a job, not for the paycheck but the experience. As a job gives you a lot of experience. In fact, if you get a job in the business which you are going to start, then the job will teach you a lot about management, sales, some strategies, and many people. #4 Meet new people  The job allows you to meet many new peoples who can be your friends, mentors, colleagues, or competitors. This helps you to improve your social skills. This helps you to improve your confidence, communication skills, and also meetups. It is fun working with new people which you get here. Maybe one of them is your best friend forever. #5 Work-Life Balance In your 9-7 job, though you don’t get time between 9-7 you get time after that. You don’t have to bother with stress after that. In our life, there’s not only work but our lives also matter which includes our family. The best thing about it is after 7, we are free of stress, work, and the burden of work. And we can easily give time to our family. This is the work-life balance. #6 Work with a community  On the job, we mostly work with a community. The community doesn’t here mean your home community but office community. We as an employee work with other employees as well. We can tell it as our work family. Sometimes all the people enjoy and do the work which is like working fun. Cons Of Being An Employee Till now you may think that job is the best, as we get many works as well as social advantages. But we can decide by seeing one side of any coin. If we see only the pros of anything, then we would definitely say “YES”.  #1 Less Job Security  The thing which you have to keep in mind and which people ignore is businesses are not emotional. They don’t want people who don’t have the proper skills to work. Today robots are taking place of humans. It is not popular till now, but it will be common soon. It is said that in businesses you have to fire 10% of your employees every year of bad performance. Businesses don’t want quantity, they want quality. In fact in today’s world people with high skills also don’t get a job. Job security is in very few jobs today. Remember this point always “If you don’t come to work on time, you’ll be fired.” #2 You can’t decide Your Job Earnings And Reward [ Income is not equal to action ] Know more: click

Expand your network and client base So, you’ve already landed your first clients and prospects, which is fantastic! You must now build a positive relationship with them. The key to accomplishing this is to keep open lines of communication that foster trust. This will allow you and your clients and candidates to freely voice their thoughts and points of view, as well as maybe refer you to additional clients and applicants. The majority of recruiters, both freelance recruiters and traditional, utilize LinkedIn to network with potential customers and prospects. Work on improving your LinkedIn profile and expanding your network. This network will stay with you even if you move jobs or start working as a freelancer. Make an investment in technology Investing in technology will make your job easier and allow you to get more done in less time. Purchasing a new laptop, installing new software, or subscribing to a new platform can all help you save time on certain activities. Set a work schedule Time is distributed in the same way as space is divided. It is critical to follow a work schedule similar to that of an office worker. Otherwise, you could find yourself working from dawn to dusk. And this might lead to undue exhaustion. You may be required to work a couple of hours overtime on occasion, as in any profession, but it is not advisable to make working overtime a habit. Getting experience as a recruiter If you’ve never done recruitment before, you’ll find it difficult to persuade clients to employ your services. It is suggested that you have about 5-10 years of experience with a staffing firm before starting a freelance recruitment job. The majority of recruiters rely on LinkedIn to find prospects. You’ll build up a huge network on LinkedIn over time that you may take with you when you change jobs or start your freelancing career. When working with an agency, you must decide the specialty you want to focus on. While the firm you work for may have clients in a variety of sectors, as a contract recruiter, you may struggle to obtain clients and prospects unless you specialize. Every business has its own set of acronyms and buzzwords that you’ll need to know in order to effectively interact with clients and prospects. You may become an expert in your field by narrowing your focus. Post Originally Featured at this blog https://khawajamanpower.com/blog/
“Work From Home” - What COVID-19 Alert Level 3 Means For Businesses
Employsure is here to support business owners to comply with the restrictions under the COVID-19 alert levels. The Government last week outlined the details of what relaxing restrictions from Alert Level 4 would look like, and has now announced the lowered restrictions under Alert Level 3 will come into effect at 11:59pm on Monday 27 April. Alert Level 3 will last for a minimum of a fortnight, and will then be reviewed by the government, before it makes a further decision on 11 May. Business owners that want to open can spend the next week preparing to do so, e.g. get stock etc, but have been asked to stick to social distancing and their bubbles. Schools and Early Learning Centres can be accessed for cleaning, preparation and maintenance. On 28 April, teachers will be allowed into the building – students who can attend will be allowed in the next day. “For those who can work from home during this period, it will allow them to still enable cash flow into their business, while eliminating the risk of spreading the virus between potentially infected employees,” said Employsure Senior Employment Relations Adviser Ashlea Maley. “While this may not be an option for all businesses, it is still the best course of short-term action, to keep things running as smoothly as possible. “Allowing more businesses to resume operations will help reduce the unemployment rate and will allow the economy to begin to correct itself. “While it would be good to see all businesses operating as soon as possible, the risk is still too high.” What businesses are open? Under Alert Level 3, major restrictions apply to hospitality businesses like restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as retail and hardware stores. Non-essential businesses that meet safety guidelines will be allowed to operate, but transactions but must be done through an app or online portal - not be face-to-face. Contactless food delivery or click and collect services must also be adhered to. Businesses that don’t have a customer-facing function and are only accessed by staff can reopen, but staff must practise physical distancing and comply with health and safety standards. The Government’s main message to employers is to still work from home if you can. Schools will open for children up to and including year 10 but physical attendance is voluntary. Those in years 11-13 will continue to learn from home. Looking ahead: “We won’t yet know the full extent the government’s decision to lower the alert level will have on small business owners,” said Ms. Maley. “For those non-essential businesses that can’t operate from home and have to return to the workplace, these next few weeks will be the factor in deciding if the decision to relax restrictions was the right one. “If they stick to good hygiene and abide by the safety measures they put in place, I can see this as a positive step forward. “Employers should ensure all staff are abiding by the rules and should take the correct steps in maximizing safety if a worker breaches them. “The coming months will be a new test for New Zealanders, and it’s up to all of us to work together, to ensure we can come out of this on the other side.” Resource Hub For Employers: To help employers meet this unprecedented challenge, Employsure has built a free Resource Hub, containing workplace policies, communications, checklists and FAQs. All information is free for business owners and can be found at employsure.co.nz/coronavirus #covid19 #newzelandbusiness #employee

CBD for Sleep, CBD Benefits, Side Effects, and Treatment
People have long used the cannabis plant for medicinal and recreational purposes. Compounds called cannabinoids in the plant are responsible for the effects on the brain, and the two most abundant of these are tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). People use CBD for a variety of reasons, including reducing seizures, anxiety, and pain. Some studies have demonstrated that CBD may also be a sleep aid. In this article, we look at whether it works and any associated risks. What the research says In the last decade, growing public interest in the benefits of marijuana, and CBD in particular, has encouraged researchers to study its effects. Early studies indicate that high dosages of CBD may support sleep. One investigation found that, compared with a placebo, a CBD dosage of 160 milligrams (mg) increased sleep duration. The researchers also concluded that the placebo, 5 mg of the insomnia drug nitrazepam, and 40, 80, and 160 mg of CBD helped the participants fall asleep. The stress hormone levels of cortisol are typically peak in the morning, but people with insomnia may have high cortisol levels at night. Independent of insomnia, having high cortisol levels at night is associated with an increased nighttime awakening. In one study on the effects of CBD, researchers found that cortisol levels decreased more significantly when participants took 300 or 600 mg of CBD oil. These results suggest that CBD affects the release of cortisol, possibly acting as a sedative. A more recent analysis of CBD and sleep recruited 103 participants who had anxiety or poor sleep. The researchers studied the effects of CBD combined with those of other prescribed medications. The CBD dosages ranged from 25–175 mg. The researchers found that 25 mg was the most effective dosage for anxiety and that addressing troubled sleep required higher dosages. During the 3-month study, the investigators followed up with the participants monthly. At the first follow-up, 66.7% reported an improvement in sleep, but 25% had worsened sleep. 56.1% of the participants reported improved sleep at the second, but 26.8% had worsened sleep. The researchers conclude that although CBD might help people sleep in the short term, the effects may not be sustained. Side effects and other risks of CBD Overall, the available evidence suggests that CBD is well-tolerated. Some people report fatigue and mental sedation with CBD use, but researchers believe this may be related to the dosage. Taking 10–400 mg of CBD per day for an extended period and by different routes did not have a toxic effect on participants in a large retrospective study. Even dosages of up to 1,500 mg per day were well-tolerated, other researchers report. However, determining whether there are long-term risks of CBD use will require further studies. So far, no reports of lethal CBD overdoses exist. Some researchers may be concerned about CBD abuse, but information on significant complications is limited. One study indicates that dosages of 400–700 mg of CBD, which is considered high, can aggravate cognitive deficits in people with schizophrenia. Combining CBD and THC may, however, improve cognition. Researchers do report that CBD may cause other adverse effects, including: alterations of cell viability in studies conducted in cell cultures decreased fertilization capacity inhibition of drug metabolism in the liver reduced activity of P-glycoprotein and other drug transporters If these effects on drug metabolism and transportation are confirmed, it would indicate that CBD interferes with other medications. Overall, more research is necessary. Still, it is suitable for anyone who wants to use CBD to speak with a healthcare provider first. Check out the best CBD for sleep at Sweet Dream Beauty website.
