Programming. Coding. Computer Science. Buzzwords, skills that are useful in almost every field now. So you want to learn to program, but you have no idea where to start, heck, you may not even know what programming is! Let's change that. Programming is the art of logic. You can think of it as writing an essay, but your word choice is limited, and each word carries a powerful and unique significance. No matter what sort of code you write or what language (yes there are lots of programming languages!) you are programming in, the thought process is the same. You may be wondering about the title of this card "Diamonds, Snakes and Coffee," these are references to three important programming languages: Ruby Python Java I'm a firm believer in learning how to think before learning how to code in any one specific language, so we will go more into depth on these languages later, but for now, let's dive in!
