Trek's also used to offer the most expensive entry level bike with the same features as any other entry level bike. It seems as though they have learned from their mistake and have lowered the price on their 1.2 model. When it comes to components, frame design, and accessories, this is entry level road bike lands itself in the middle of the pack while compared to other bikes in this category.
I have this bike, 2013 version. It's excellent, no complaints.
In my opinion, Trek's are overpriced!
