Hello Friends, it has been a while
I came here to update one of my cards with a new video link, and I realized that it's been forever since I actually looked at this website. I have no idea how anything works anymore LOL. BUT, I completely and totally forgot to include Vingle in probably my biggest adventure ever. Or maybe I mentioned it somewhere but forgot. IDK. Anyway, Snow in Seoul ACTUALLY WENT TO SEOUL. Over the summer I got to study abroad with Hanyang University, and I spent the entire month wandering around the city and seeing some pretty cool things. I mainly used Snapchat to document my trip, but those don't last forever and I forgot to save many of my stories :/ I did attempt to keep up with a blog here (<-click the word "here"), but I failed miserably and only made 2 posts while I was there. Here are some of the exciting things I witnessed: 1.) Learning a traditional Korean fan dance (and getting college credit for it YES PLEASE) that you can see here: https://youtu.be/LCemLdrGt68 2.) Going to SMTown and seeing the School Oz hologram musical 3.) Accidentally coming across the JYP building and seeing JYP himself coming out of the building (I still wish it was 2PM tho) 4.) Accidentally finding the SM building and FNC like 30 minutes after seeing JYP 5.) Going to an Epik High concert 6.) The shopping OMG it's amazing 7.) A cat cafe, a dog cafe, a sheep cafe, and a poop cafe 8.) The famous Trick Eye Museum 9.) The infamous torrential downpours that happen during the monsoon season 10.) Korean dating life 11.) Street food holy crap 12.) Going to a mud festival where you basically just cover yourself in this supposedly healthy skin-healing mud and party you little heart out 13.) Views from Namsan Tower (which I just realized could have been a really good Snapchat caption that I never used DAMMIT) 14.) So many gorgeous palaces like WOW it's amazing how so much history is maintained in Korea There are definitely more things but I'm starting to lose my memory of the trip without looking at the pictures I took :( I unintentionally embraced the whole "let go of technology and explore" thing some people do when they travel, so I basically have no written memories of the trip :/ If you want, I can post more about it, or answer any questions you have ^_^
Flying to Seoul for the First Time: Tips and Tricks!
I'm the kind of traveler that likes to know exactly what to expect when I get to a new country. I memorize airport maps, bus stops, and subway lines so that in case I can't find wifi or if I'm running low on time, I can find my way on my own. This is especially true in countries where English is not the native language. When I first came to Korea, I was obviously a little nervous. I was going there to study abroad so there were people meeting me to take me to my university, but I still had to get off the plane, through immigration, and somehow find this one cafe that was our meeting point all by myself. I've been traveling since I was literally 4 months old so I wasn't too scared, but I wish I had had a little more info on what Incheon was actually like. So, for those of you who are planning to visit Korea for the first time soon, I shared what it is like to fly into Incheon and get all the way to Seoul. This includes some things to expect with the landing (aka why Korea is called 'Land of the Morning Calm') and how to go fill out immigration forms. I hope this is helpful! Enjoy^^~ Other facts: - Incheon airport is about 2 hours outside of Seoul! - There are actually 2 international airports in Seoul, Gimpo and Incheon. Most likely, you'll be flying into Incheon which is the largest, but if you're flying in from Japan you might be taken to Gimpo which is slightly closer to Seoul! - Incheon airport has SO MUCH TO DO including a rollerskating rink, traditional music concerts, a movie theatre, a capsule hotel, a museum, and places where you can wear hanbok and make Korean crafts! If you have any more questions, feel free to leave them belowwww~
Things to Know About Guarantor Service for International Students
Summary:- For those who can’t pay house rent upfront can pay through installments provided they have a guarantor which is normally what is required for student accommodations in the UK. This article provides information about who is a guarantor, what he does, and what if you do not have a guarantor. Managing finances while you study abroad is typically daunting once you’re asked to pay the annual rent of your student accommodation fully. We guarantee the rent for the entirety of your tenancy, so whether you’re 18 or 80, if you don’t have a UK guarantor then this is often the service for you! Who may be a Guarantor? If you were a guarantor for somebody who is unable to repay his renovation loan, you’ll end up repaying the loan for him. The guarantor guarantees a loan by pledging his or her assets as collateral. Unlike a co-signer, a guarantor has no claim to the asset purchased by the borrower. If you have a guarantor you will be able to pay your house rent in easy installments as is set by the provider whether he wants weekly, quarterly or monthly installments.  This is also the question of security of the house owner who wants to be sure of the tenants' whereabouts. Paying for you A guarantor for international students is liable for paying your rent just just just in case you default. Whether you’re trying to hunt out a personal studio room or a shared space, the likelihood is that you’ll be required to supply details of a guarantor with a good credit score and should be working currently in the reading city.  A must if unable to pay rent upfront Most accommodation providers will ask you to provide details of a guarantor who takes the responsibility if you’re unable to pay your rent entirely annually. For international students, finding an appropriate guarantor during a replacement country could even be an outsized order. The whole process of booking accommodation becomes easier, and a lease contract is signed for your tenancy period without any hassles. This student room guarantor service is typically available for a one-time nominal fee. Go for partner services Now, what if you do not have a guarantor who has a robust credit score and takes your responsibility in case of non-payment of rent. Student housing websites and accommodation providers now have partnered with specialist value-added service providers who will help get you a Guarantor to provide students the safest and most secure payment option. There are two payment options available for college kids full payment or by installment. If you’re paying for the entire year ahead, you do not need to provide us with a UK Guarantor. If you decide on the installment option, we’ll ask you to provide us with a knowledgeable UK Guarantor, which can be standard practice within the United Kingdom. This provides us with the security and knowledge that the rent goes to be paid fully. for school kids who cannot provide a guarantor to be able to pay rent in installments can resort to those services. With these services within the future, it’s surely beneficial to travel for PBSAs as ideal stay options because there’s more that’s offered apart from just the accommodation. University Living, the scholar housing marketplace spread across globally, provided additional value-added services like a guarantor for international students to new relocators overseas.
