Do đó, gas R410A với thành phần hóa học tương tự như loại R22, nhưng có độ bay hơi cao hơn đã được phát minh nhằm thay thế cho loại gas R22. Ưu điểm: Năng suất làm lạnh cao hơn 1.6 lần so với gas R22. Nếu so với loại dùng gas R22 thì máy lạnh dùng gas R410A cho hơi lạnh sâu hơn, tiết kiệm điện hơn.
