Hidden away in the alleys of Insadong, this restaurant is a perfect place to stop off at after a morning of shopping and exploring. The restaurant offers a good variety of food - all of which is vegetarian (there are NO meat options here) - including many vegetarian takes on traditional Korean favourites. Two of my favourite Korean dishes are 된장찌개 (fermented soybean paste stew) and 자장면 (black bean noodles). The stew is generally packed with seafood and the noodles rarely come without pork. Sometimes I have such strong cravings to eat these foods that I just pick out the meat and fish - but let's be honest, that's no way to enjoy a meal! Obviously I am biased when it comes to what's best on the menu but whatever you choose, there's something for all tastes. Prices range from: 5,500won to 38,000won (for large-sized portions to share).
