Love, There's an App for That: Tinder
Quick Facts - It's an online dating app. - When it first came on the scene, it was used more as a hook-up/casual sex app because it finds you potential matches based on their proximity to you. - Recently introduced “Moments,” similar to Snapchat, within the App! How does it work? It finds your location using GPS, then uses your Facebook info to create your profile (nothing about Tinder will ever be posted to Facebook). A Tinder profile is made up only of your first name, age, photos (of your choice) and any pages you've 'liked' on Facebook. Tinder finds potential matches near you (you can narrow it down by age and location.) You swipe right to 'like' them. If not, go left to 'pass'. If they’ve also 'liked' you, it’s a match and you can start messaging! How much does it cost? Sign up is FREE! What do the experts say? It’s natural. You 'like' people in the same way you would in a bar – on whether you find them attractive at first glance. A little shallow, yes, but it’s what most people do on a night out anyway. You wont have any unsolicited emails. On most dating sites, anyone can message you. But with Tinder, only someone you’ve 'liked' can make contact. It is still very casual sex-focused. Many are only on Tinder for a quick hook-up, so if it's a serious relationship you're after this app might not be for you.

@galinda It took college campuses by storm! I always wondered if girls felt back swiping left on their guy friends haha
Tinder is definitely superficial. All you can really see about a person is in the photos they upload!
I joined Tinder for an hour (for science!) to see what the hubbub was about and didnt get it. I ended up scrolling so fast that I ran out of "choices" hahaha
whoever created this was a genius, this was made for modern day college culture even though I find it nuts
Not a fan of Tinder at all! I hear people talk about it all the time and just dont get it
