We've learnt how to ask 'How are you?' so now we should learn how to reply. Today we're going to focus on the more positive side of things so we're going to learn to say '(I'm) very good'.
We'll be introducing a new character 很 and revisiting one of the characters we learnt in the first lesson 好. To say 'very good' in Chinese, we should say ‘很好' which is pronounced 'hěn hǎo'.
好 has already been introduced so if you have any trouble please visit the link at the bottom of this card to review the character.
很 means 'very' and is used in the same way as in English. It is a very(!) useful character so make sure to remember it~
