Qingdao International Marina (Qingdao 05.13)
After long day out and having eaten way too much, we decided to take an evening stroll around the marina. The marina is located at the former Beihai dockyard in FuShan Bay (right next to the May Fourth Square) and played host to the Sailing Regattas of the 29th Olympic Games in 2008 as well as the 13th Paralympic Games. In the daytime, it's a lovely place to walk around with fantastic views of the water and at night, it's also pretty great; you get a wonderful cityscape. We also found out the Cafe Bene in the marina stays open late so we popped in there for ice cream, lots of silly photo taking and general madness.

I visited Qingdao last summer and had a really great time - you spent time on the beach too, right?
