Series: Plane Slate Photographer: Hunter (me!) Camera: Nikon D50 Lens: Nikon 50mm f/1.4 (1950) Location: Monroe Hall My old college dorm. You can see in this image that the sky is this brown, creamy color. This is the true color of the sky on that overcast day. However, I have distorted the building itself, leaving only a small amount of detail left in the actual structure. What we are left with is a transparency of a building left flat on the brown sky. Check out my artists statement before looking at anymore photographs if you haven't already!
Interesting shot @hunahuna. I wish I could see the detail a little closer, but nice image nontheless
@hunahuna woahhh thats pretty big! Well, maybe I'll see it displayed some day :P
Thanks @onesmile ! I wish you were able to see this work fully printed, it gives off an entirely different feel. Fully printed this image is about 5 feet wide and 2.5 feet tall.
I think this might be my favorite of the works so far--I love that all but the reds seem to fade away into the murky sky. cool work.
