I love walking. I'm a walking person. Even in Korea where the heat is borderline unbearable, I walk everywhere. With that in mind, it's not really surprising that most of my favourite dates involving walking. It's a little bit of a hike to get to the park (300+ steps?) but it's totally worth it for the views.* Sat on the top of a hill next to Seoul World Cup Stadium, the views of the city and out over the Hangang river are outstanding - especially on a clear day. There are lots of benches and there are also little pavilion style structures where you can lie down and chat until the sun goes down (or 9pm when the park shuts...whichever comes later?!). The scenery is very pretty so don't forget a camera - trust me, you won't be the only couple taking photos. The park is very popular with couples....VERY popular! I'd highly recommend putting a picnic together or stopping at Homeplus to buy some food and heading on up. For one of those 'getting to know you' dates, a trip to the Sky Park is perfect.
