Game character I feel most like (and also two I wish I was)
Well I already had this answer in mind. The character I feel most like is Prompto Argentum Why do I feel most like Prompto? Well Prompto is a really sweet, happy-go-lucky jokester, but in reality he also has a lot of insecurities that cause him to doubt himself. The moment I realized I was more like Prompto was during a certain scene in game (These may be out of order but you get it) He is desperate to earn his place among his friends and feel insignificant next to them. I relate hard to this because even now, I'm struggling to feel like I deserve my friends and feel like maybe I don't belong with them or fit in. We both put on a persona or at least try to, in order to feel like we fit. Prompto and I are similar in that way and this is also where my love for Noctis really set in. They way he comforted Prompto was something I was unaware I needed until I heard it When I heard those words, it set in that maybe I was more like Prompto than I realized and maybe this game was going to impact me in ways I didn't even know. Now the characters I wish I was is Noctis Lucis Caelum and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret I want to be Noctis because he is extremely caring for his friends although he doesn't show it as obviously as most. He's a strong and kind person and he's just everything I wish I was. I want to be Lunafreya because she is a strong girl. She helps so many people and puts so many before her and she shows incredible strength in the face of danger and struggle. She is an actual queen and I wish I could be even half of the woman she is. 5.) The Mortal James "An Adventure, Perhaps"
Day Five. I finally left my hotel room. I couldn't help but look over my shoulder nearly every minute. I was paranoid that was for sure. I kept trying to reassure myself that if I did not see the other guy, then its more likely that he did not see me either. I don't know what he looks like, so he must not know what I look like. That definitely eased my paranoia a bit. As I was sitting at this little cafe, I happen to look over and caught this beautiful woman looking at me. Of course she looked away quickly, so I looked away. I slowly looked at her again from the corner of my eye hoping to catch her gaze again but she looked on at her newspaper, drinking her coffee. Every now and then I would look around, looking her way. She kept her eyes on the newspaper. I don't know, maybe it was just my imagination or my amateur sleuthing but she never turned a page and she didn't look like she was reading. Her eyes were glued to one spot on the page, whatever it was. I closed my eyes, leaning my forehead into my hands. There was something happening, I could feel it growing in the pit of my stomach. I didn't want to believe it, I truly didn't and I think that was what was holding me back from actually seeing the reality of what was going on or that I was in deeper than what I wanted to believe. I opened my eyes when I heard a phone ringing. I looked over and she was answering it. She was speaking to someone. She wasn't speaking French or English, it sounded like Italian. In the middle of her conversation, she glanced at me and quickly looked down at the ground, hung up and left in a hurry leaving her newspaper and coffee behind. I happen to look over in the direction she had gone, before she disappeared around the corner, she looked back at me. For a moment, we seen each other, our gaze met and it lasted longer than I had anticipated but there was something else. Not a look of interest that a woman gives a man but a look of curiosity, a look that said, I know what you know. And she was gone...... but not for long. I looked at my hands, they were shaking. I had not noticed it until then. I couldn't get the headless man in the alley out of my head. I don't think I really slept the whole time I was in my room. I kept having that strange feeling that I was being watched, even as I sat at the little cafe, I could feel someone watching me. I drank my coffee and left. My hotel room didn't feel safe. As I said before, it felt like someone was watching me. I wanted to leave, just jump on a plane and go home. Leave all this BS behind me. I couldn't though. I wasn't due to leave for another two weeks and my room was paid up until then. I wanted to stay as well, when I really thought about it, there was nothing for me at home, I know there wasn't, except my cat but she would be well taken care of should I not return. Here, in Paris, this great mysterious thing was happening, unfolding before me. So, now, I had two choices, return home to the boring mundane life of living everyday in silent misery or stay, find out what that business was all about the other night, who the pretty dark haired lady was, put my mind at ease that I wasn’t seen, and perhaps even get shot at or even killed. An adventure. As I sorted through my wallet thinking on it, I came across a business card with an address and directions. If that wasn't a sure hint as to the direction I should take, then I do not know what was. So be it, to the countryside I will go. I returned to my hotel, cautious of my surroundings. I stood at the lobby doors, looking around, taking a photographic memory of each person in that lobby, quickly analyzing everyone's movement. There had been someone on the phone when I walked in, they had glanced at my way briefly, I took note of it; a man, young, black hair, dark complexion, very dark eyes, looked Indian or maybe even Arabic. When I looked back, he was gone. I told the desk clerk that I would be in for the night and did not want to be disturbed, a lie of course but what else was I to say, that I was checking out, no I did not want that known. For all I knew, the desk clerk could be in on it. In all the great mysteries I have ever watched, no one can be trusted, be suspicious of everyone. If you can't tell, I watched a lot of movies, it was my hobby and my passion. I had been watching them since I was kid, spending every weekend at the theaters. Watching movie after movie, and this was feeling very much like a movie. Dead bodies and a mysterious beautiful woman, yeah, definitely not a comedy. I packed up my bags. I waited until the next morning to leave but for now, I made my way down to the dining hall and ate dinner like I usually do. Previous Card 4 .... 6.) The Mortal James "An Escape"
Day Six. In the early morning hours, I quietly closed the hotel door behind me. Trying not to let the lock click too loudly. It was quiet in the hallway, too quiet. I leaned up against my door, taking deep breaths, clutching my back pack closely against me, before heading down the hallway to the fire escape. I figured the elevator wasn't an option at this time. All I had was my backpack to lug but all the while as I was making my great escape, I kept wondering if I should've just brought my suitcase as well. When I got down to the bottom, I stopped and listened for anyone else. I had done this on every floor coming down. I slowly pushed the door open, peeking out, hoping it was clear of all persons but to my surprise, it was the alley. I stepped back and wondered how I ended up here. I had initially thought I would come out near the lobby area because I had pasted the fire escape door on my way to the dining hall. It came to me later that there had been three fire escapes throughout the hotel. I had not realized that two elevators had actually been constructed in the middle of the building. Two fire escapes at either end of the hotel, with one that paralleled the elevators. Such great luck I was having up to that point. I ran down the alley, hoping the taxi cab that I called for would be waiting for me. I went straight out to the curb, close but not too close to the hotel entrance and waited patiently. As the taxi pulled up, I threw my bag in and handed the taxi driver the address and directions. He looked at for a long time, shook his head, looked back me and said "Prendre un bus...C'est trop loin j'ai" “What… what does that mean?” I asked impatiently, trying to decipher it in my head. From the sound of my english question, the taxi driver realized I probably didn’t understand, rolled his eyes and said it again so I could understand. I just know he said something about taking a bus. “Too far out of city, you need to take bus. I’ll take you to bus station. Okay?” I nodded quickly, “Yes, yes that will be fine.” As we drove away, I tried to hide my face, even sitting low and pushing back hard against the seat. I think I was sweating bullets at this point. I know the taxi driver had no idea what was going on or that I was trying to make an escape but Jesus… he drove right in front of the hotel. As we got to the bus station, he handed the card with Jeans’ name on it and address, telling me to give it to the clerk and they'll give me a ticket. I thanked him and rushed into the bus station. There was a line. I didn't know what to do. I hoped I wasn't being followed or being watched. I looked around, no one batted an eyelash at me so I figured I was okay. But still, I had to be careful. I took deep breaths and tried to relax. The line got shorter. As soon as I got to desk, I handed the card over, saying I needed a bus ticket to that place. The attendant smiled. “What takes you to the countryside?” She asked. Her English was clear, then I realized she wasn't from there, “It's beautiful country. That estate is very popular. A lot of visitors go there.” “You don't sound like you're from here.” “I'm not, I'm from a little town in Arizona” she laughed, “Where are you from?” “New York. I met an older gentlemen on the plane coming over. He invited me to come out.” I felt relieved for some reason. Maybe just meeting someone from the States, getting as though the last couple days were a dream. A very bad dream. “You're all set. Usually most tourists stay a day or two but I left your return time and date open. I hope you enjoy your stay.” She smiled handing my ticket to me. I thanked her. I waited in another line to get on the bus. I must've looked anxious or something because a man standing in front of me as if I needed to use the restroom, at least that's what I think he said. Damn, I should've paid more attention in French class. Brushing up on my French wouldn't have hurt either. I just shook my head at him. Finally. I found a seat and held on tightly to bag. Thankfully there weren't too many people getting on. I was able to sit alone. I was even thankful when the bus finally started to pull away from the depot. As the buildings have way to open country, breathed a sigh of relief. I was feeling comfortable enough that I feel asleep. A mistake I shouldn't have done at a time like this. Previous Card 5 ... The Elder Scrolls Games Ranked from Worst to Best
1. The Elder Scrolls: Arena The game that started it all!! The general blueprint of the Elder Scrolls was laid out here, and hasn't changed all that much over the years. Clearly it isn't as advanced as some of the newer games but it laid the foundation for future games. 2. The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall While Daggerfall refined and improved a lot of what made Arena such a good game, the world it was set in was fairly bland, and often times felt quite repetitive. Most of the towns you visit feel exactly the same, and the dungeons get boring once you realize they all follow almost the same layout. 3. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Now this... might annoy some of you. While I think this game is really good, and at certain points great, the combat system is what fails the game the most. Throughout the entire game every character levels with you, and the combat makes it feel like you are doing almost no damage while random villagers would be able to one-shot you. Oh also the main storyline kinda sucks. 2. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim This is truly an amazing game. Despite slight narrative issues that make following the main storyline a little confusing, Skyrim is just a stunning open world to just exist in and interact with. Side quests are extremely detailed and almost never feel repetitive. Also dragons are pretty cool. 1. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind This was a pretty obvious #1 for many. Sure there are plenty of little issues to pick at but Morrowind provides an experience so immersive and truly unlike any other entry in the Elder Scrolls Series, or any other RPG. It is more beautiful, interesting, complex and political than any other Elder Scrolls game, making it a pretty easy #1.

2.) The Mortal James - "A Door Opening"
2. My first day. To this day, I still do not know why I can recollect the dream I had that night. I suppose the reason could be that it had been the most oddest dream that I ever had. In this dream, I was standing on the edge of a mountain cliff. Down below, I could see thick fog all across the land and these little lightening storms shooting off like fireworks. It was like viewing a lightening storm upside down. The thunder bolts shot off into the sky above it. It was day time but the blue coloring of it had faded away and I could see the stars. Only near the horizon could you still see the blue sky. Something caught my eye, a glimmer, it was shiny, dancing in the fog, then it became two. Dancing together and before I knew it, one exploded into streaks of lightening, shooting up into space. Then everything was quiet. The sun set on the horizon as I watched the fog thicken and rise. It rose up the wall of the mountain toward me. My feet disappeared and then my legs. It was so thick I could not move, it held me still. It crept up my body. As it started to envelope my head, I could hear the sound of screams coming through the fog, like echoes down a long hallway. Very much like the screams of men on a battlefield. That was the last thing I remember hearing before waking up. I drew the curtains open and was taken back by the magnificent view from my window. It was truly breath taking. I took my time getting ready, eating in the dining hall downstairs, and preparing myself to explore what I can for the rest of the day. The first place I came to of interest was a small old church. The gate was open so I went in. It was beautifully constructed, very quiet and peaceful. The huge round stained glass window was the first thing I noticed the second I came through the doors. I sat for a while. It felt as though there was a kind of presence in there that was understanding and forgiving. If nothing else, I could have almost believed in God. God and I know the other exists but only one us believes in the other. Feeling as though I should be going, I headed for the door but just as I reached it and was starting to push it open, I heard a voice from behind me. It sounded like someone wishing me peace. I looked back and seen a tall slender man in a long brown monks robe standing in the beautiful colored light of the stained window. He smiled, so I smiled in turn. What makes this a most memorable spot is that I had looked away for a second, Only for a second, when I looked back, he was gone. Like he had vanished. When I walked out and stood looking up at the steeple to the right, an older man with white hair asked me if there was anything he could help me with. I told him I was just visiting, as I got my camera out, thinking I would ask him to take a photo of me standing in front of the little church. I asked him about the tall slender man inside. He looked puzzled and said that he was the only one there. It was my turn to be puzzled. I described the man to the little white haired man, I am assuming by now that he must be the groundskeeper because he didn’t look like no priest. He shook his head at me. Then as if remembering so suddenly, he gasps. “Many years ago, there was a monk that lived here. He lived here for a long time. But he passed away some time ago, ummmm, nearly four decades now. No priest or monk has occupied this church since then.” I found myself peeking back inside. I took a quick pic, hoping to capture something on camera like they do on those ghost story shows, but there was nothing. The groundskeeper laughed and joked, telling me to take more photos, maybe I’ll get something. I thought maybe just one more and I’ll go. I wandered the city streets for hours. When it started to get dark, I made my way back to my hotel. After dinner, as I gazed out my window at all the lights and at the Eiffel Tower off in the distance, the strangest thing happened. As I stood there, I could have sworn I had seen lightening coming off the tower. There had not been a cloud in sight all day and it sure did not look like there was any at that time. It was quick, it was over in a matter of seconds. I wondered if anyone had seen it. I closed my curtains and went to bed. At the time, I did not think of the dream I had the night before, it did not even occur to me the coincidence. Previous Card 1 ....
