I'm one of those people who lives to eat rather than the other way around. I would much rather have my cake and eat it, even if it means an extra hour on the treadmill later! Wherever I am, I'm always on the look out for tasty restaurants~ I started following traveller's 'Seoul Dates' collection a week or so ago and last week saw a card about Dochi Pizza ( in Gangnam. The photos looked pretty good so I figured I would give it a try. Although the original card suggests it as a date spot, some of us are not so lucky(?) so I called up close friend for a catch up instead! We ordered the shrimp and mushroom salad just because I'd seen it on traveller's card and it looked delicious. It was -hands down- one of the best salads I've ever eaten in Korea...actually, one of the best salad I've ever eaten in general I think. I'd never have thought to put shrimp and mushrooms together but what a great combination. We also ordered the four cheese pizza to go with the salad. Normally pizzas in Korea tend to arrive either lacking cheese or covered in plastic-y 'pizza cheese' and don't even get me started on the other toppings. The pizza served at Dochi was nothing like that. Our pizza was served, freshly baked out of a clay fire oven, with a rich blend of cheeses that left us with that happy, well-fed feeling. All in all - fantastic stuff. I know where I'm going next time pizza cravings hit....! (For more restaurant information, check out traveller's card; everything is there).
I'm a thin crust kind of girl, but this looks heavenly
I'm not familiar with Korean pizza toppings but that pizza looks pretty good! I totally agree with what you said "live to eat, not the other way around" I couldn't have put it better! @funkystar25
That pizza looks amazing...I wish we got that kind of thing in Beijing but it's almost impossible to get good cheese
That looks delicious !
I'm so glad you enjoyed my post! Dochi really is amazing - I went there last night again for dinner, soo good~!
