Recent studies have shown that taking 8 minutes out of your day to walk may boost your creativity. The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition had subjects walk for eight-minute blocks of time, then tested their capacity for brainstorming and creative thinking. At work I occasionally walk away from my computer to think out a problem in a different scene. Discussing a project with my coworkers in a cafe rather than the office, etc. Turns out, that isnt the best approach. It doesn't matter where or when, any sort of walk will get your creative juices flowing.
