"Do you sometimes feel, that this world is not real?"
Jesus and Mary Magdalene are sitting in a boat in the middle of the sea of Galilee. "I'm not sure I understand what you mean", he replies.
He came to her like many other did. Young man and women who left their home looking for answers. In her sanctuary in the harbor of Migdal, she gave them shelter and something to think about. She told them about her childhood in Alexandria, and how she used to sneak into the great museum, trying to grasp as much of that huge body of knowledge as her little head could. Yet she always warned them of Sophia, the wicked goddess of knowledge who will tempt them to stop thinking for themselves.
But he was different, and she could tell right away. Soon enough it was no longer clear who is the teacher and who is the student.
"I don't know what you mean", he says, "but sometimes reality is so painful, that it is easier to believe that the world is not real, than to accept it."
