This is a poem in the perspective of a slave. Written By Eden Grasa To the city of gold, Our lives were sold. Restless hours of relentless work, Never to be rewarded. They promised us freedom, In return for our labor. But the white mens sins, Were not in our favor.
Interesting poem~ I wish it were a bit longer, but the rhyming scheme is really interesting! Looking forward to reading more.
