John Baldessari is an American conceptual artist known for his work featuring found photography and appropriated images. He still lives and works in Santa Monica and Venice, California. However, John has had a tremendously successful life with countless awards including: the Guggenheim Fellowship, Americans for the Arts Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement.
