Another move that kills two birds with one stone. This move gets those pesky obliques to tighten up, giving you a thinner profile and an overall tighter tummy. It also is a great move for your quads, helping out your thighs :) 1. Stand with your shoulders in line with your hips and raise your right arm. 2. Shift onto your left leg and rotate your right leg at the hip, turning your toes out. 3. Crunch your right elbow and right knee together, pinching your waist. 4. Return to start.
We would do these for warm ups in one of my pilates classes and my abs would be burning before we even started the real moves!
I love working the obliques. I actually really enjoy it when they're sore.
