I believe this image pretty much sums up how the cyclists of the 2014 Tour de France feel about the abundant crowds showing up on very small roads. When the crowds move in so close, it takes the cyclists' minds away from what they should be doing, riding their bicycles. Unfortunately they are forced to deal with spectators who just want to get close to the action. Even though the cyclists are annoyed by it, it seems as though they are taking it in good faith. The crowding bugs them, but they love people coming out to support them.
