Pierrot Strike ( 삐에로 스트라이크)
Bowling is a real old-school date idea with an effortlessly casual vibe. It's a low stress environment so your date will feel relaxed and comfortable which is, of course, important. If your date is comfortable, they'll have more fun and if they have more fun then you get a second date. Win! Pierrot tends to be quite noisy especially at peak times (Friday/Saturday) so you're guaranteed a substantial amount of background noise. This is good because it takes the pressure off - you don't have to make conversation in the way that you would for example over a candlelit dinner. Pierrot is without a doubt the trendiest bowling alley I've ever seen. The support poles beside the lanes had neon images of clowns, the lanes were well kept and polished, and the giant TV screens at the end of the lanes provide a very chic feel to the ally. If you're looking for a more light-hearted, fun date, then this is the one for you. Costs Involved: 5,000won per game Drinks start from 5,000won Bottle service starts from 120,000won. Food is available - prices vary. Location: Designers Club 1F, 85-4 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul (강남구 청담동 85-4 (디자이너스클럽 1F)) Directions: Travel by underground to the Apgujeong Rodeo station. Take exit 4 and walk straight down the road. The bowling lanes will be on your left two blocks down the street. Ah~ so many fun nights spent here. It's true that the staff aren't the kindest / politest in the world but then you're not really there to exchange pleasantries - you're there to bowl!!
