Intensity is substantially more important. What I mean by this is that it will be much more beneficial for you to spend three hours a day studying for two weeks than to do an hour a day for a month. Language learning requires frequent repetition and reinforcement - without this, every time you pick up the textbook, you'll spend half the time re-learning what you learnt in the previous session. It's much better to set aside time in your life (be that a month, six months or a year) and set yourself a goal to achieve a certain level of proficiency than to keep half-heartedly studying for a much longer period of time.
I keep trying to relearn French but I never set aside the time to do it.
@sophiamor finding the time to do it is always the hardest part!
Definitely true - little and often is key!
yes~more is less
