What a wonderful share from Richard Grayson on Thoughtcatalogue. The 70s were definitely something to remember, and this free, abounding life that streams from the pages of his diary from late June, 1973, are so interesting, and resonate with my memories on so many levels. Even if I was never a young graduate living in New York City, I definitely still can remember this style, both of being young and living in the 1970s. For a quick comparison between the 22-year olds of now and of then, take a peek into Grayson's diary.

There is no better way do describe your early 20s than a "marshmallow dream"
